Playa Cabana

Cozy atmosphere, chill staff, during the rush it can be a bit too cozy but that's your call.
The food is prepared well and quickly. Compared to their partner restaurant Playa Hacienda this place leans toward more authentic Mexican food.
So good, I habitually get Pulpo tacos.
Also this place is an easy option if you're gluten free just mention it to your server.

Love this spot. We will be back. Fabulous mezcal cocktails and tacos. Awesome variety of salsas to accompany the house made tortilla chips. Great, knowledgeable service and fun, quirky surroundings.

Why fly to Mexico when you can come here for amazing tacos. Toronto has some great spots for tacos and Playa would make the top 3 on my list. Overall cool spot tucked away on a busy street.

We arrived at this restaurant for a meeting. This place was recommended to us by a friend. Well, it was very successful. The staff were extremely nice and we felt fantastic. The food was just great. We enjoyed every moment and we shall definitely come back again. Keep it up.

Finally had dinner here (after talking about it for months; it's literally around the corner from me) and I'm glad I did. Wonderful baja tacos; the fish and batter is so light, super yummy. Also had the "nachos" appetizer. I put "nachos" in quotations because they're not...quite what you'd expect, presentation wise. But also super yummy, with a surprising kick of BBQ sauce. I had Dave's Margarita which was very nice. Will definitely return.
