As expected, eating sushi can be expensive. I would highly recommend the shop to provide set meals. We ordered some flammed pressed sushi, the sushi tarts, sushi don and beer for the dinner. After tax and tips, it costed around 40/person. There is definitely room of improvement in service. I hope the servers can be more available. Overall, it a good experience.
One of the best Sushi restaurant without the attitude... our server knew what she was talking about...service was prompt and friendly. Prices are not stupidly high for the quality we got. Thank you... wonderful experience and we will be back.... often...
Walking in, the interior was elegant, clean, and modern. Service was nice. Ordered the signature lunch and it was a delicious and unique pressed and torched sushi experience. Great value for the quality of food you get. Definitely going to go back.
I think there's really good potential here.
I liked the general flavour of things which is a great start.
We had the platter which had good portions and variety.
The hand rolls were reasonably priced however I thought the amount of rice was overwhelming. In fact the rice was overall generous in everything. Less rice would be better.
But the most disappointing part was:
1. I had a piece of plastic from one of the hand rolls.
2. The wagyu sushi from the platter had a tough meat piece which I spat out.
I'm sorry, if you're charging 55$ for a sushi platter, it better have high quality. And high quality means detail-oriented preparations that goes flawlessly.
Hence my 3/5 rating. Best of luck.
Really good. Average $30-35/person and food tastes delicious. Waiter/waitress are really polite. I went there around 7pm in a Saturday evening there were no lineups. Really cozy place considering located near North York Center.
