THE 5TH TASTE SUSHI RESTAURANT

We stopped in here for a late lunch. The place was empty. Tables were clean and seats were comfy. The food was good, well prepared and fresh. The only reason why I took off one star was that I felt the portion was a little on the small size. Will happy come back here again if I was in the area.

I was really craving sushi today, so I kind of went all out. The quality of this place is about as good as any good place in Toronto is. It's not exceptional, but it is really great.

There was one menu item that I guess I didn't read the description of, and I should have. It was a lobster roll, but with cream cheese. I like cream cheese in my bagel, but literally in no other situation. So that was my fault.

The sashimi was fresh and delicious. Their sushi wasn't LOADED with rice, it had just enough rice and vinegar, I was actually impressed. Not a lot of sushi places balance the fish and rice as well as this place.

I got take out, but the atmosphere was really nice. It'd be great for a date. Their tea was pretty good. I mean, it has a great flavour, which you lose in most sushi places.

The service is nice, the food is ok. Just mediocre Japanese food not too much surprise. The price is reasonable. The Waitress is very nice and gave us a free seaweed salad for waiting a bit longer

Came for a late night bite by myself after an event. Server was clearly very busy doing take out orders but very courteous. Took my order quickly and was very attentive despite how busy he was. Sushi was top-notch - fresh, delicious, meticulous. Really great experience.

Great sushi restaurant! Friendly staff, reasonable prices, and high quality sushi. My partner and I stumbled across this restaurant in our neighbourhood and will definitely be going back!
