This micro bar is absolutely a hidden gem. Some friends met up and had a great time. We all enjoyed the signature fried chicken which is blackened but very moist inside. The grilled octopus and ebi mayo were some of our other favorites as well.
Many of us like the Honeydew cocktail while others liked the signature Opium. The place is small so plan to show up early or possible give them a shout for larger groups. They even have their own draft beer and specials during Raptor games.
We definitely will be back.
Incredible service, and the food and drinks were spectacular.
The food menu is only one page but I consider that a major benefit - because everything on the menu has been perfected and you can expect consistency each time you go. There's a separation of dish size, easiest enough into small, medium and large size dishes. Basically small apps, medium servings and then dishes equivalent to a full meal. My personal favourite was the blackened chicken, the cook and crispy skin on this was ridiculously flavorful and the chicken was moist and delicious. Other stars were the Mian (fresh noodles with spicy beef) and the grilled octopus.
The drinks menu entails a large selection of beers and hard alcohols/wines, and they're very willing to make the drink if they have the specific ingredients required. The 3 featured cocktails are a great idea if you're into trying something new, as they are in no way your standard cocktails. The Feng Shui is a lychee flavored drink with a fresh lychee, and the Opium - House drink is described as black smoke, and the taste is something you just have to try for yourself.
It was a great experience finding this place on the Dundas strip. Love the ambiance. Ordered the house ipa, tasted great. Tried the lychee cocktail. Solid drink if you like something fruity.
Found out they got food as well. I highly recommend the sesame chicken.
Great house cocktails. Cute little joint on Dundas.
Came for a birthday and had such a wonderful experience. The staff is extremely friendly and patient with any questions about their menu. I loved the Mian , Takoyaki and Bao Zi. The cocktails were great. They had an impressive bar selection making it a great choice for anyone. The decor is really fun and the place has a great vibe! Will definitely be returning.
