“Went here last week. Had some pupusas, a typical dish of El Salvador. They are made out of corn flour or rice flour stuffed with beans, cheese, chicharron (pork) and many more ingredients. The ladies working there were extremely friendly. The young one taking our orders had really great customer service skills. They cost $3.00 each. With the order we received curtido(pickled cabbage slaw) and salsa. A tomato sauce, not be confused with Mexican style salsa.”

“This pupusas stand is in the Downsview flea market food court. The phosas are a good size and thick. There wasn't enough salsa for them. The pupusas were delicious, especially the ones de queso. I had an horchata which tasted very thin rather than thick. Pupusas are $3each. The wait is Long, about 20-25 min. Staff was nice.”

“Completely run by women, this cute little gem will transport you all the way to the streets of Paris. Every little detail - from the quirky paintings and chandeliers to the Christmas lights to the brick walls to the multi-coloured ceramic jugs to the lovely French music - really adds to the perfect atmosphere. I would say it’s mostly a romantic date spot, but honestly, I’d just as happily sit solo at the bar and drink a couple of their delicious cocktails. They mostly serve the classics, but it’s the ingredients their bartenders and chef Miriam use and understand that really elevate their drinks and dishes past what you’re used to.”
