“The Hong Kong style food in this restaurant is great! The Portuguese Rice is one of my favorite dishes there. The price is also reasonable and affordable for students. The size of the food fits well with the price. The only downside is just questionable hygiene and slow service.”

“Service was pretty slow. It took awhile for someone to take out order but the food came at an appropriate time. Interesting atmosphere - Chinese food, Korean music, and Japanese anime on the three TV screens. Price was okay, a little-wee higher than other Chinese restaurants. Food was also okay. The big plus is that this place opens later than most of the restaurants in the area, great for late night feeding.”

“Most flavorful sauces I have had in a borrito. Decently spicy, good size for price and great taste. They make every order on the spot so it's very fresh. The nachos are also very nice and crispy with good quality cheese. Only con is that the service can be a bit slow depending on the order.”

“Came for the Korean Pork Bone Soup only. It's pretty average across the board. It tastes good but isn't as flavorful or spicy as some other places I've tried (in Toronto etc). I think I prefer the soup at Nuri Village over the other two choices (that I know of) in the University plaza area. There's a good amount of meat and the soup has a potato in it which is a must. The rice and side dishes are well proportioned and good quality (kimchi not special but it does the job). Has welcoming atmosphere and staff. Fast service too.”

“Best value for 10$ at UW plaza and the fastest service. The customer service may not be perfect, but the food tastes decent and is super convenient.”

“Good Service with friendly staff. I love the sub collection here and appreciate how consistent and fresh the taste is. This location is great as it is really close to the university campus and is open at all times.”

“Great taste and spice level. They do charge extra for spice though. They have halal meat and have very economical pricing. You get a large amount of food for the price. The main con is that the service is inconsistent at times and can take a while.”

“Edit: I have changed my review after the surcharge was noted. The service was otherwise good; employees were fast to serve and pizza was large. Buyer beware, they will try to overcharge you if you pay using card. I was charged $4.50 after tax for a slice that should have been $4.30. Pizza was of good size though thin.”

“Good food at a good price. They accept Watcard and deliver massive portions. My go-to is the spicy eggplant pork which is excellent. I'm quite a large fella and I often don't need the unlimited rice with how large the portions are. Perhaps not the healthiest but the best place to get your freshman 15”

“I have come here a lot of times throughout my undergrad. The food options are really healthy and it is quite easy to make a filling and yummy meal. Prices are decent and they also offer halal meats.”

“Great food as always, love the all you can eat salad and bread! Also our server Jay was excellent, very friendly, attentive, we told him we would eat lots if salad and bread, he then brought us 2 breads, and when our salads were getting low he ordered us more without even having to ask. He was overall a great server! I'd highly reccomend him!”

“Lazeez is an amazing restaurant. It is the sort of place that makes you want to keep coming back with its deliciously flavoured Shawarma and affordable prices. Its customer service is second to none. I definitely want to give a shout out to Mati (the manager). He was polite, respectful and considerate. 100% would recommend anyone to go :)”

“I have visiting this restaurant since it opened. In addition to having very approachable staff, great food, clean place, the most important and amazing feature of this place is the consistency of alll these attributes over the time. I will not worry to bring guest because of the potential of having bad surprises. In short, Great job and excellent food”

“Nothing really wrong with this place. Typical Harvey's restaurant. But what makes difference is if the employee are happy to be there. Not this location, the lady at the cash register does not want to be here... then I don't want to be here either.”

“Came for the Korean Pork Bone Soup only. The broth had a good level of spice and decent flavour. There was a bit of a weird (subtle) smell from the food at first that went away. The soup had plenty of meat and it all came off the bones super easy. Like, the easiest I've ever experienced. I was also pleased the soup had a potato in it like it's supposed to. The rice was good. The side dishes had good portions, but they were a bit disappointing (the kimchi especially needs to be better). Overall not a bad experience, would come here for soup again.”

“Came for the Korean Pork Bone Soup only. The broth was well flavoured, but meat tasted a bit off (but not bad). There was a good portion of meat, but there was no potato at all which is disappointing. Good rice and good side dishes, although the portion of the sides were a bit small. Good, comfortable feeling eating here.”

“Portion size is perfect. Always fresh ingredients. They don't cheap out on the ingredients, if the dish says chicken : you're ACTUALLY getting a A LOT of chicken (this is unlike most Chinese restaurants) Taste great too!”

“Hands down best Chinese (Hong Kong Style) food around. Their hot pots are outstanding. They are a bit heavy handed on the MSG so if you don't want it, just ask. They're good guys. Wish they would freshen up the the place though as its really getting dingy ... but some of the dingiest Chinese places are the best.”
