This is the ideal place to go when on the Plateau Mont-royal. Good food at a reasonable price. Strongly recommend !

La cabane is one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to. The food is great and the service is fantastic. Hubie, the owner, is such a great guy. He is friendly and he knows pretty much everyone. He was the one who invented their famous Portuguese styled poutine. I am shocked at how many 1-star ratings this restaurant has. Overall, great place!!! 10/10 recommend

I went there on Father's day with my 2 sons, my friend and his son. The terrace was full but they found us a table right by the sliding door which was even better than sitting out in the sun. We started with beer and wine and a delicious order of chicken wings with a very tasty sauce. We each had something different and not one one of us had any complaints the food was scrumptious. The steak, pork filets, chicken and fish were all cooked with a Portuguese style that made each of the meats tender and juicy. Then the rice, potatoes, vegetables, salad and bread enhanced the plates very generously. We're all big guys but didn't really have room for dessert.
The service was fine and the price was reasonable and the food was scrumptious. We'll be going back.
