“Lovely local bakery with sweet and savoury options. The lunch specials that include sandwich, soup or salad and dessert or drink are a steal at $10.95. The sourdough specialty breads with cranberry, dark chocolate or walnuts and raisins are very dense and delicious. Great chocolate croissants and date squares too. We ordered a few americanos with our pastries and it took a while for them to make them but we were not in a rush. The americanos were very good.”

“Delicious locally crafted meat products. The owner met us in the quaint little shop and talked about his products. It's lovely to see when someone is truly passionate. We tried elk and pheasant pâté, duck pâté, the most delectable marinated smoked trout (it is well worth the 10 hour drive from Ontario), and we even had some crocodile jerky! We would love to come back and definitely recommend this place to all.”
