Le Bistro

Great place to eat. Excellent bilingual service. We first had lunch there 45 years ago. Changed over the years but still enjoyable.

The food was high end Bistro fare with prices to match. The quality of the food was remarkable. Unfortunately the service left us wanting. We came in to the Bistro without a reservation at 4:45pm on a Saturday. We were told we could be seated only if we could guarantee we would vacate the table by 6:30 pm.

There were too many staff members milling around behind the bar and it appeared that there was no manager present. The server never checked back to see how we were enjoying
our meals or ask if we needed anything.

The server was slow to bring the bills. This certainly did not match with urgent need for the use of the table for a 6:30 reservation.

To recap the food was good but service needs to step up.

Great pizzas and pasta! Good wine selection. The restaurant was very busy when we got there but service was quick and the food also came out quickly.

We arrived without reservations and only had to wait a few minutes for them to prepare a table. The service was prompt and courteous. I had a very good hamburger with fries and salad. The portions were generous. My wife's salad with chicken was equally good. I recommend this restaurant.
