“I have been to this place twice now. Once in a group, and another with my better half and my oldest. It is definitively designed for groups as there are only cafeteria style tables. This make getting up to get you plate or second plate (the food is good enough for that) an awkward moment as you squeeze behind a row of strangers shoving themselves as awkwardly under the table to let you pass. The only one toilet outside (well, one for men, one for women) is a problem, especially on crowded day. Waiting in line, outside under the rain and squeezing inside the restaurant part once again when it is over is not my thing. But, as I have stated already, the food is good. Not exceptional, but good.”

“Went there last week. It's very cozy and small. Not many people = not too loud atmosphere which is great. The host was nice and the food was amazing and fresh. Two things to know. 1: it's only open on Saturdays from October to April. 2: it's a whole night affaire. Since there are 5 courses (including dessert) and only one person the cook and the other serves, it takes time. We were there for nearly 4 hours. But the food and atmosphere is worth it.”

“Wonderful slice of old Quebec location and traditions. Pierre and his team are wonderful hosts. They are very interested and active in keeping this sugaring business going and to share with visitors. The meal, style of dining, service: all excellent. The sugar operation and baking operation: excellent. We particularly enjoyed the gift shop attended by a lovely, knowledgeable lady. Our purchases will serve as fine souvenirs and useful for us as we remember a great visit.”

“We have been here a few times now coming home from Montreal. Always need a whopper. I know there are so many Burger Kings, so you need to be better, not food, but rather have great customer service. As soon as we walked in the team came alert. They quickly took my order and then tagged team to bring my order item by item. The employee apologized that fries we going take an extra 30 seconds, because he wanted to make sure they're fresh. That's the little caring, pride in your work which makes this Burger King, the king.”
