“If you are looking for a good Thai Express this one is pretty good. The place just got renovated, they serve your food in actual dishes and not plastic bowls like other Thai Express. It has nice decoration, but the place can fill up pretty quickly at lunch time. The only thing I dont like about the plates is that you cannot see if they put more food or not. I usually order my dishes with extra protein, and usually when you do that, they serve your dish in a big plastic bowl instead of a styrofoam plate. Since here they only ever give you a dish, I've had a hard time seeing if I really have extra protein and many times I feel like it was forgotten and I just paid extra... But that could be my perception. Overall, its a good Thai Express. I've had bad Thai Express, but not here.”

“I love this place for it's quiet bistro quality. It's like stepping into a quaint European cafe. I love getting a cafe au lait and cheese croissant to start my day. The people are warm and friendly. The food is homemade and meals are made to order a lot of the time. I recommend going when you can take a leisurely brunch or supper to fully enjoy the experience. “I go here almost every week because my daughter wants hot dogs and it's the closet place to get a good steamed hot dog. The staff is friendly, food gets delivered quickly, and it tastes good. I enjoy their burgers and poutine. My wife will usually take a club sandwich when we go the whole family. Unfortunately, they don't heat up the chicken for their clubs, but overall its a good in and out fast food place. The place will need to fix a few things soon though, some of the bench show their age and look quite used up. The entrance is a bit awkward, but my daughter loves her hot dogs so we will keep going.”

The owner, Pete, has built a place with a real welcoming vibe. He's always chatting with the customers or ready to pick up his guitar and join the band for a set. You feel more like a friend rather than a client. The place itself has a log cabin kind of feel to it. While a little on the crowded side everyone is friendly. Great live bands and classic car nights during the warmer months. The smoked meat is moist, succulent and delicious. The fries, made from Manitoba Red potatoes, are awesome.
