“The good: very cool location back towards the hills, well maintained and clean, decent enough pizza for mexico. The not so good: Seemed touristy. ie tour bus as we pulled in, lots of tables with numbers, set up for large groups for sure. Service seemed a bit of a struggle. Worth a visit, just don't stay too long. Much better places to eat for sure!”

“This unique dining experience is one of the best I've had in El Valle. The chef/owner is passionate about not only food, but about the region. She uses locally source ingredients and her restaurant is ultra low environmental impact. It is an outdoor kitchen situationed in beautiful pine trees offering a spectacular view of the area. If you are lucky enough to be there during a sunset it will be amazing. The restaurant offers a prix fixe menu with 6 courses. The menu is seasonal and subject to change from week to week. When I was there the main course options were salmon, pork ribs or lamb. I had the pork rib and my wife had the lamb. Everything is cooked over a wood fire just a few feet from your table. The meal was great and the attention from the staff was top-notch. Total cost for 2 was under $50 USD. This place is cash only and there is no ATM on-site so be sure to bring US dollars or Mexican peso with you.”

“Had a really wonderful time here for lunch. Took the recommendation from a nearby winery and were blown away by the quality and atmosphere. The food is pricey for the area but well worth it and very much a steal compared to what you would pay in the States. We had a number of items but the surprise hit was the spaghetti of all things; not covered in tomato sauce but a smooth, spicy cream and the pasta was cooked in such a way that we are writing about it here online. A really great treat while exploring the Rte. de Vino.”

“Just an incredible experience. My family is from Michoacán and I have never anything on their menu before. I came with my in-laws and we tried everything. This restaurant should in the top 50 for Latin America (I’m no food critic) but there’s enough inspiration and love in the food. I highly recommend dining here you won’t regret it.”

“This was an amazing place in Valle de Guadalupe. Food was excellent, wine was great, especially Malbec was awesome. Superb location for family and kids. Lots of different bikes for kids all ages. Decor its beautiful, ambiance was great. Prices were reasonable. Our first time there and YES I am coming back soon. Only con was person that attended us could've been a little bit nicer and friendly. But maybe he was having a bad day.... Overall I highly recommend this place to anyone anytime. Go check it out it's really special.”
