Steaks were fantastic, the west indies salad was awesome, the lobster bisque was very flavorful, though not much lobster, and the snapper was excellent. The service was not very good, thus 4 stars. “The food was pretty excellent. I recommend the shrimp and grits and the brownie dessert. The service left a lot to be desired, though. Our server stood and talked to other customers for long stretches of time and left us needing refills a few times. The place wasn't really that busy for a Saturday afternoon, so it was not an issue of being over-busy. I will definitely be back, as the food was great, I just hope the servers can be more attentive to ALL of their customers, rather than just a few.”

“AMAZING! The Hope Farm is a beautiful establishment that my family loved! We got recommended this restaurant by the brother of the owner and we knew we had to go. The exterior is beautiful and the seating is spectacular inside and outside. The outside area is also a wonderful place to relax and take a nice walk. The food was absolutely divine from appetizers to dessert. We loved the Warm Mushroom Salad, the HF Burger, and the Chocolate Tart. I love the idea of the farm to table food and everything that was homegrown was splendid. The customer service was top tier, and our waiter did a wonderful job and gave us many great recommendations. I would recommend The Hope Farm to anyone who lives in the area or is planning to travel to Alabama.”

“We had an outstanding dinner last night at Sweetwater Cafe! Service was impeccable. Every ingredient was fresh and flavorful and meticulously selected and prepared. Husband had the filet, creamed potatoes, and substituted the asparagus for root vegetables. All were cooked to perfection. I had the Buffalo Wings with Ranch dressing. The wings were tender, juicy and not dried out. The sauce was flavorful, not too spicy, traditional Buffalo sauce, but definitely homemade. No bottled sauce flavors here. Drinks were not wimpy. The server paid very close attention to every detail. It was the best overall meal we’ve had out in a long time.”
