“The food is amazing!!!! This is the best ever Indian food that we have had from a long time. The lady (owner) is super nice too! They close at 9, but she waited for us until way beyond that to make sure we had everything we needed. Took out 1 star for Atmosphere because we expected it to be a restaurant when it really was a food truck. However, it didn't matter at the end because we still loved the awesome food and their outdoor seating and ended up having more fun!”

“The owner was very good to us. We had the pretzel 🥨 and a cider beer to start and had a hard time not wolfing it down because it was so delicious. The pork schnitzel platter has us hooked. Highly recommend.”

“Had an excellent meal. They were slammed, but checked in on the app and it was a very smooth process to our table. We had fried onion blossom for appetizers. I ordered the small, 12oz Prime Rib with baked potato and house salad. Reasonably priced and ample portions (brought home left overs. Wife had chicken Alfredo she said it was very good.”

“As good as I remembered! Everything I've tried has been fresh and hot. I like that they offer sides like green beans, okra and mac and cheese instead of just fries, too. Fish plates are served with a big helping of cracklings which is nice. I don't remember Captain D's doing that before. Sweet tea is good, everything else is Pepsi, yuck. Also, it's nice to have somewhere other than Fish River that does real hush puppies and not frozen little balls of sadness from Sysco.”

“Potato is for sure huge! Well cooked and a good portion of meat. I'll try here again and try a different potato. I got the bbq chicken. It was good, just not a fan of the bbq sauce. Friendly staff. I LOVE the Christian music playing!!! Definitely recommend.”

“Quick dinner at Jim N Nick’s. It is always clean when we come here. The atmosphere is really calm and the outdoor seating is very nice. We often sit at the bar, as we did this time. We ordered Brisket Mac N Cheese and a Pulled Chicken Sandwich. The food was good as always. The bartender accidentally gave us the Habanero BBQ sauce. Which, thank heavens my husband could handle it- however- the meal was just not the same as he tried to drown it in regular sauce. We totally understand accidents happen, yet for someone extremely sensitive to heat, that could have been really bad. Just make sure you know what you are getting!”

“My husband and I went to Baumhower’s Victory Grille for date night, and were promptly greeted upon our arrival. We were seated at table 81 and our server was Lisa. She was very knowledgeable and friendly. We will be requesting her as our waitress for future visits. When Lisa brought my sweet tea, we realized there was a crack in the bottom of the glass causing it to leak. She very promptly replaced my drink and cleaned up what had leaked out. My husband had the Victory burger, and I had the Triple Play Cheeseburger. Both came with curly fries. The food was great and not over priced for what you get. These burgers were big and juicy! We also ordered fried pickles as an appetizer…they were so good. Overall, we had a fabulous experience and we will be back for more great food with great people in the future! Thank you for making our date night a good one!!!”

“I am so excited to have Honduran breakfast available in the middle of Foley so I don't have to drive all over Baldwin County lol. I had an incredible chorizo and eggs dish that literally had me closing my eyes and going yum. Add beans on the side with some fried plantains as well as some breakfast sausage and some good coffee all with fresh steamed tortillas. Very sweet staff all of this cook from scratch expertly and quickly. They did not have their sign up yet but it's dead center of the strip mall with a big red and blue open sign over the door.”

“First time here, very nice and bright inside. The staff was very friendly, I just went with basic breakfast for me, biscuits and gravy, 2 scrambled eggs! Mmm, so good, plentiful gravy and yummy, the eggs, like home cooked. I won't be shy about coming back.”

“At first we weren't sure because it seemed a little expensive after a full day at the park. However, we are soooo thankful we went! I'm 34 and it was the best service I have ever received anywhere. Our waitress was on top of our large party of 10 (four adults, and six kids ranging from 1-6). Plus the owner went above and beyond multiple times. No hesitation to come here every time we visit OWA now. Everything we had was top notch (grilled cheese was alright) but the chicken strips, house made mac n cheese, tacos, sweet potato fries, cinnamon apples, etc were all really good! The portion sizes were large so we did some sharing and all left full. They also offer a military discount which is always appreciated!”

“Jan 2024- Valerio's is closed. It will be another restaurant in the spring. I hope they have a reasonably priced menu for families. This was owned by OWA & was not a 3rd party vendor...Nice casual italian place in OWA. Prices and portions are good. I really like their Farmers Salad. The kids liked the penne alfredo.”

“Place has pretty good food, it is authentic Honduran food. This is not an Americanized restaurant, so don’t expect service to be the same as american. over all food is good. Bathrooms look clean so you know kitchen is cleaned. I had a baliada and a popusa.”

“First time customer... Extremely clean, being able to view the kitchen is a major plus. Employees were very nice. Food was absolutely fire! In today's world they have all the sauces sitting out for you to grab what you want, they have napkins for you to grab as many as you want, and they have an actual fountain soda machine for you to get your soda not one of those terrible freestyle machines!!! Don't sleep on the jalapeno fry sauce WOW DELICIOUS.. TO BE HONEST I'D GIVE IT 10 STARS IF IT WAS AVAILABLE.”

“Great food! Tiramisu is bigger portion size than what you get at Olive Garden and the prize is lower. There pizza is delicious! Coconut pie is one of my favorites. They always have great prices on beer such as some flavors of beer in 24 pack cases for just $11.99. Oh, and they even have milkshakes and Hersey's ice cream cakes. This place has it all!”

“First let me just say, this place is a very easy 5 star if they had 1 more employee on the floor. Im a bar/restaurant owner and 25+ year service industry employee and I can say this was my favorite new restaurant in a while. Food combinations and flavors were very on point and delicious. Presentation was also amazing. My 5 top party had to wait 45+ minutes for our entree when the place wasn't that busy. The wait would not have been bad if we had better service though. Now the service we did have was great, there just wasn't enough of it. Water glasses stayed empty for far too long and there wasn't a lot of checking in. Basically, the young lady serving us needed just a couple more hands in front of house so she could help back of house more easily. Really, any problem we experienced. would be fixed with just one more employee on shift. Other than that... our visit was both fun and delicious.”

“Always a treat to stop at Stacey’s Soda Fountain! Mid-Afternoon ice cream- because why not? It was quiet with only a couple of other tables at 3:30pm. Enjoyed our treats and the service was excellent!! Really should stop by more often.”
