“AMAZING! I'm not even sure that's a strong enough word. The food was phenomenal, best food I've had in my 37 years of life. Whenever we eat out now it will always be at Desmond's! Just going to start at the top and work my way down the menu. I had the ribs... huge portion! The bone literally fell out when she set the plate on the table. Collard greens were the best I ever had! Seasoning was perfect on everything. Definitely try the fried plantains....hell, try everything because I guarantee it's all going to be delicious! Husband had the jerk chicken which had the perfect amount of char but was still super tender and juicy!”

“Best food I've had in Alabama in 8 years. Food prices are reasonable for the area. The quality of the food is incredible. My family tasted each other's entrees and it was all delicious. The presentation ave food quality is similar to that of a high end restaurant in downtown Saint Louis. The service is enjoyable and Brian was a delight. If coming for a dinner Thurs-Sun I recommend calling ahead for a reservation. It's quality food and enjoyable atmosphere.”

“A hidden gem!! We stopped in for a quick lunch after seeing their sign while out site seeing in the area. I can't say enough about this place! Our waitress was awesome. The buffet was fresh home-cooked southern style comfort food that was delicious, the dining room is beyond cute and very clean. I highly recommend stopping in if you're out that way!”
