My daughter and I had take out and went to the city park two blocks away. Wonderful stop in Foley. Foley has a hidden gem. It would be easy to miss this place if you are just passing through, but it is worth visiting if you like Greek food.”

“If I could give 10 stars, I would. This gem in the heart of Foley, AL has one of the most talented chefs and is one of the best restaurants we've been to. The shrimp and grits were out of this world creamy and delicious and the homemade chocolate cheesecake (which I'm so glad Chef Diane insisted on because I normally don't like chocolate) was downright heavenly. Seriously some of the best food my family has ever been served. I can't wait to come back for brunch!”

“AMAZING! I'm not even sure that's a strong enough word. The food was phenomenal, best food I've had in my 37 years of life. Whenever we eat out now it will always be at Desmond's! Just going to start at the top and work my way down the menu. I had the ribs... huge portion! The bone literally fell out when she set the plate on the table. Collard greens were the best I ever had! Seasoning was perfect on everything. Definitely try the fried plantains....hell, try everything because I guarantee it's all going to be delicious! Husband had the jerk chicken which had the perfect amount of char but was still super tender and juicy!”

The presentation ave food quality is similar to that of a high end restaurant in downtown Saint Louis. The service is enjoyable and Brian was a delight. If coming for a dinner Thurs-Sun I recommend calling ahead for a reservation. It's quality food and enjoyable atmosphere.”

“Bahama Bob's has become a favorite spot of ours, and my only regret is that I wish we had discovered it earlier during our vacations on the Alabama Gulf Coast. The menu claims they have the best burgers on the island, and I'll say that I haven't found one better! If you want a 'Cheeseburger in Paradise', this is as close as it gets in Alabama. Though the beach view sadly is just a little sliver now, I don't think it ruins the experience at all. We've always had great food and great service at a reasonable price, and I will definitely keep coming back. Don't forget to grab a slice of key lime pie if you have room left after a Bahama Bob's burger.”

Even though we were some of the last people served, the restaurant was clean and our server was pleasant and attentive. The chips and salsa was fresh (the tortilla chips seemed like they were just cooked). Our food was delicious. One thing that kept me from giving 5 stars was that one of our orders were wrong. Another was that we felt that peppers and onions were overused. Other than that we had a good experience and plan to return. I would definitely recommend that you give it a try.”
