If you have the extra money to spend its a great spot for a date night or night out. Food was excellent, service was excellent and the Friday night entertainment was superb. Will be returning here and bringing friends with me!
Let me start off saying, if we ever come back to town and someone wanted to come here to eat, we would come back but I DEFINITELY would try something different. I would rate the street corn a 5 out of 10 and the corn nuggets were a 9.2. If they had a little more season on them, they would have been a 10. The plantains were a 7.2 and the sauce that was prepared with them was a 4.1. As far as the chicken sandwich, I wouldn’t recommend it. It wasn’t seasoned enough at all. The fries were good and thick with a nice seasoning on them. My husband had the jerk chicken, rice, and cabbage. To me the best thing was the cabbage. The rice needed a little more seasoning and the chicken in my opinion need to be cooked a little longer. However, my husband liked the chicken, cabbage, and rice but also thought it needed a bit more seasoning. The staff was nice and attentive. The place was very clean with a 96 rating.
I enjoyed the atmosphere, food and service was exceptional on my first time dining experience! Everyone enjoyed their food, which was especially & distinctively delicious👏👏👏👏👏👏
We had a lovely meal. The atmosphere and service were great. We ordered the pernil fries and beef patties appetizers and enjoyed every bite.
Greeted at the door and immediately sat. The menu looks good, we kicked off with the wings and pork belly. Took about 25 minutes for the first app to drop but we quickly realized it’s because it’s cooked fresh. The quality is worth the wait. No beer or liquor, they have standard Coke products. The pork belly was extremely soft and tender with a touch of crispy, and well seasoned with some cabbage garnish. Fantastic. The wings came out and were hot and fresh, very full, moist. Delicious. I got the jerk chicken and it was magnificent. Although the coconut rice was cold, the taste was spectacular. I love Keylime pie, so we had to have that as a dessert. They serve it in a bowl with the raspberry sauce, which took away from it. Key lime pie stands solo. I also like a nice back crust on a Keylime pie, but it was cut into a circle and the only crust was on the bottom. I thought this took away from it, but the pie itself was excellent. With some tweaking, some red stripe, and Appleton estate this will be the best restaurant in the Shoals in the next coming months.
