An engaging atmosphere and beautiful building. The food is creative and upscale. This is an excellent place for that special occasion or for giving yourself a treat.

Tried for the first time, and it was good, but it's one of those types of places you eat at, once in a blue moon.

The service was very good. The ambience was very subdued... laid-back. The food was good. I tried the Mac n cheese, which is supposed to be real good, but I was more like....real disappointed....not much flavor.
I had the beef short ribs, and they were really good.

All in all...I liked it, and if you're in Sheffield, AL, give it a try. It's good for a one time try.

Very fresh appetizers. Chicken was well presented and very moist and tender. Green beans were crisp, but a bit too salty for my taste. Good quality salt, however. Bread pudding was outstanding.

Decided to stop by for lunch and I was not disappointed. Great quality and price for the portions. The food was absolutely delicious. I had the shrimp and grits and a side of green beans. The shrimp and grits were amazing. Probably the best I've had in the area. The green beans were fresh and seasoned to perfection, just perfect.
I can only brag about this place. I love the fact that so many locally owned restaurants are popping up and they knocked it out of the park with this one. Can't wait to try the rest of their menu.

There are a lot of hidden gems popping up in downtown Sheffield and the Red Clay Table maybe the greatest jewel in the treasure chest. The food is fresh and appealing to the eyes and the taste buds. This fine dining experience has it all - a beautiful exterior, elegant interior, friendly service, fresh food, and a one of a kind menu.
