“We enjoyed the dinner at the new Southend Grill in Fort Payne 😋 my husband and I tried the lamb chops and they were juicy and the sauce didn't overpower the meat! The deviled egg Appetizers are chef's kiss 🤌 the beer battered onion rings almost melts in your mouth, great execution on the beer batter! I loved the apple fritter dessert! It was soft and crispy in all the right places 😋 In my opinion it is definitely worth the price, you can tell the head chefs/cooks have a great passion for the culinary arts and it still stick to the root tradition of southern recipes 😃 I highly recommend this place for date nights and special occasions! We will definitely go back again and try many different items on their menu!”

“Our office was on a retreat in the area and we wanted to go somewhere local to eat. A friend suggested this place and we had so much fun. The food was great, the service was friendly. We went on a Thursday night and they had live music. I wish I could remember his name but he was great! Not only could be sing good but he was SO engaging with the audience. He even came to our table at one point to visit. We had a great night. The fish in the picture is the Ribeye Salad (I think that's the name)”

“We went the very first night they opened and the food was great. I had the Creamy Basil chicken over pasta and it was awesome. My niece had the Cajun chicken cheesesteak sandwich and she said it was amazing. The service that first night was a little slow but that was normal on an opening. The wait was worth it!! We will go back.”

“Food was very good. However, service left a lot to be desired. I sat at the drive through speakerphone at least 5 minutes before anyone spoke, and I had to say "hello" 2 times to get any response, then was told "one moment please, " yet it was another 3 minutes before I was asked what I wanted to order. After placing my order, and pulling around to wait to reach the pickup window, I waited another 6 minutes before reaching it. After confirming my order, I remitted my payment, and the cashier returned my debit card to me without a receipt, but I assumed I would get it with my order. I waited a few minutes while she bagged my food and handed it to me. Yet, she didn't give me the 2 beverages I had ordered and I had to wait for a couple of minutes until she noticed I hadn't left, and made a motion of drinking something, before she realized this and handed me the 2 drinks which were sitting on the counter next to the pickup window. Upon pulling into a neighboring business's parking lot to eat, I realized the receipt in the bag was not an actual receipt, but only the list of what I had ordered with no price. Also, there were no sauces, utensils, or napkins included in the bag. Luckily, I had a spoon and napkins in my vehicle. I understand this a recently opened business, and the employees are working hard, but somethings are common sense and should be almost automatically taken care of. Incidentally, this was after 5 pm on a Thursday.”

“These macarons are the best I have ever had! They were delicate and full of flavor. Nothing dry about them!! I tried 3 flavors: Fruity Pebbles, Cinnamon Toast Crunch and Samoas. My husband and I both agreed the Cinnamon Toast Crunch were our favorite. What a sweet, decadent treat!! The presentation is very nice and the owner is genuinely caring of her customers. Her talent is unmatched for macarons!”

Good things come to those who wait, and it is for sure worth the wait. The prices are good too. “Can't say enough about this one. They are the best. Of course the food is great but the service is better. Had our meal ready before we even finished paying for it. And when we brought the kids by to play in the Plato and during the rain, they didn't frown on the fact that we bought one meal for 5 people and even gave the kids little cows as gifts. “Had a lot of fun tonight and food was very good. Ive never met a waiter that had a decent sense of humor at any Los Arcos. She did go over board sometimes but for the most part she was funny and we had a decent time here with family and friends. If our waiter just happens to read this dont lose your sense of humor but just learn when to use it and when to not... meaning that with all respect. I didnt catch her name but she had a skull design as i call it in makeup for Halloween.”
