Blueprint on 3rd

My husband & I were looking for some where different to have dinner so we decided to give Blueprint on 3rd a try-what a pleasant surprise!! Service was amazing & the food was off the chart fantastic! My husband said their NY strip was the best he’s ever had-if you like crab cakes dine on Monday as that’s the special & it is heavenly-a definite honorable mention is the mushroom appetizer-oh my goodness..SO incredibly scrumptious!! ???? Do give them a try I promise you won’t be disappointed-we will DEFINITELY be back-truly a 5 star dining experience!! ????

1st time visit, party of 8. Shared appetizers - pimento cheese with pumpernickel toast, Cornbread and okra & green tomato basket. All were very good. I had the roasted winter vegetables. Mixture of carrots, broccoli, Brussels sprouts etc. Wonderful flavor, cooked to perfection. Other guests in party each ordered different items - everyone was well pleased with their meal. Service was top notch. A great time was had by all. Thank you.

Food was delicious! We had the pork belly and magic mushroom appetizers, soup, kale salad, shrimp and avocado salad, and dessert. All tasted great. Wine and service were also top notch.

Contemporary atmosphere with great service. Reservations were needed even on a Monday night. The hostess was able to squeeze 2 of us in because we went early before people showed up for dinner at 6. The food was tasty and the duck I had was cooked perfectly, however, the vegetables were under cooked. Worth trying though and I would definitely go again.

Before reading this review, I need to say that as a fatigued local guide of Birmingham, I rarely take the time to write a well-thought stellar review. With that said, the experience I received at Blueprint on 3rd was nothing short of spectacular. This is the best review I’ve written.
I never thought that a grilled kale Caesar salad with a Rosemary cocktail would be a highlight of my life prior to the catch of the day entree. The service was stellar and the owners were present and held the door for me as I walked in. I did not know this prior to walking in!
The restaurant quality is among the best in the state, easily rivaling the same quality of Highlands or Cafe Dupont.
Without a doubt this is my first choice of restaurants in Birmingham, and I will return eager to share this experience with many friends. My sincerest thanks!
I recommend reservations, as it’s busy on weekends as any restaurant that can yield an experience like this should be.
