(November 27, 2019, 8:14 pm)Being raised in the south I wouldn't know authentic Mexican of it bit me on the ankle bit I was told this is the place to go in Homewood. Gave it a try and wasn't disappointed. I had a grilled chicken bowl presented in a black cast iron bowl with rice, beans, grilled peppers and cactus. Delicious. Friday night was busy with DJs, birthdays, and karaoke.

(July 29, 2019, 3:23 am)La Perla Nayarita is probably the closest thing any restaurant in Alabama can get to authentic Mexican seafood dishes. The portions are HUGE and well worth the price. Don't go in there expecting to spend only 30 dollars for two people because honestly, you might as well go to Captain D's. This place exceeds all expectations in terms of quality service and food. They have a large selection of fish, lobster, crab, and many other seafood specialities. I highly recommend this place.

(July 15, 2019, 1:22 pm)Very good ambiance with a small band and also a Mariachi band going to the tables to play your request for money. Pictures on the outside and inside help you feel in Mexico. The food is freshly made with great authentic taste. Watch out for prices and especially on drinks, one of them can rank up to $30.00 . Inquire before you get excited.
