Rojo

A local favorite, Rojo possesses tons of character and fun decor. The food is always made to order, the drinks are stiff, and the wait staff is very friendly. They host ton of local events and are a Birmingham institution. Brunch and the drink specials are notably good.

Legendary. Incredible Latin American fusion dining! Amazing prices, amazing menu, live music, and a temperature controlled covered patio.

The service is *slightly* sub-par. You do most of the work, but the very reasonable prices and hip atmosphere more than compensate for this minor detail. Right next door to a cool coffee shop in one of the trendiest parts of Southside, right next to two great parks.

There's a top-notch bar with great bartenders, and an astonishing selection of locally crafted beers.

If you haven't tried Rojo, you should. Another one of Birmingham's hidden gems.

Great dive restaurant with a full bar. The guy that takes the orders is extremely honest, and steers customers away from the not so good items on the menu. My new favorite in Birmingham.

Downtown Birmingham wouldn’t be the same without Rojo. This diverse, eclectic restaurant has incredible food and service! Whether you’re in the mood for Mexican or American there’s nothing on the menu that will disappoint! Highly recommend!

This was my first visit to Rojo. I thought there was a great atmosphere in this quaint little Latin American restaurant located near downtown Birmingham and the food was wonderful. I had the fried fish taco which was delicious. I highly recommend Rojo. I believe they also have live music on the weekends.
