Wintzell's Oyster House Fultondale

Food wasn't as good as my previous visit. They were out of oysters and we had a party of 8 at 4:30 for a Christmas get together. Upon arrival, we were told the restaurant would be closing at 6 for a employee Christmas party???? Food was very average and the server was rushing us. After we finished eating, a few people wanted dessert, but instead was immediately given the check. No cool, when you spend quite a bit for dinner. O well, lesson learned, I doubt I will ever be back. I didn't want to stay, but 2 people in the party did. So, think twice before spending well over $200.00 at a average place with a below average server.

It was ok
No drink menu and out of baked potatoes. They do give you a lot of food but for the price I expected better. The oyster sampler was good. I've had oyster Rockefeller several times but these weren't that good. Way too much spinach. The other oyster flavors were good.

Absolutely the friendliest staff and the food is always perfectly prepared. Great quality ingredients and fresh seafood. Great value lunch specials.Would recommend to anyone for lunch or dinner.

This was a pretty good experience. The waiter was not exactly on the spot but the food was good. There wasn’t a big crowd for lunch time. Hopefully they will be able to stay open.

Its the best seafood I've ever had. The staff is friendly. Everything is super clean all the way down to the walls. The floors are so clean they shine. . The dishes were spotless. I would recommend this restaurant for families and/or Dinner parties. You've got to try it!!!
