“The service was excellent and I liked the ambiance. They seated us immediately without a reservation. They could improve on the food. For the cost, I felt like the food was just ok. There was nothing wrong with our order and someone with different taste buds might have a better reaction but to me, it wasn't anything special. We only tried the pork chop, the scallops and a pasta dish so we could have missed something. I'm giving them 4 stars because they did everything else right.”

“1st time visit and the service was great! My waitress was very sweet and attentive. I ordered coffee (great brew) and a mouthwatering western omelet. It was perfect! My only 'complaint' is that the salsa came in packets...if it had been served in a small dish, it would have been more appealing. Either way, I would recommend this restaurant and I will be back!”

“came from Atlanta to have Donato's . Pizza was great , side salads were exceptional , took home two of their subs and they too were great the next day . Will go back for sure ! Update : Went back New Year's Day 2020 , expected a crowd due to the Alabama and Auburn games being played that day , no one there . Once again the Pizza / Big Don Sub was beyond compare ! I wish they would have never left Georgia but its worth every mile to come here and have delicious , and I mean delicious food every time !”

However, if you are like me and like a hot sandwich on hearty bread, don't head to Jimmy John's. They keep their process fast by keeping their sandwiches cold and their bread options limited to only one. This means no wheat bread or other variety is available. And you won't find a meatball sub or a hot, melty Philly cheese type of sandwich, or anything else of real interest. But if you're looking for something basic really fast, this is your place.”

“A nice place to grab a drink. Bingo night is a pretty fun evening. The lunch menu is a bar food lunch menu. The super burritos are good. But classic brew and food kinda dive. Live music on fridays i believe. Nice patio. They could change up the band every once in a while, and the male bartenders obviously need month of vacation or something, to calm their nerves. But the cook staff and bartender gals are great. Really convenient location for the Hoover Vestavia people.”

“As you walk in expect to hear the crew shout out Welcome to Moe's. The portions are huge and food tasty. I like that they give you tortilla chips with your order and you don't have to pay extra like another burrito chain. The salsa bar is very good. Love the selection of iced tea including the Northern unsweet tea. I couldn't find their health inspection posted as is required but the restaurant looked clean and all were wearing gloves. After looking online I noted their score of 95, a Serf Safe diploma is posted on the wall.”

“From the street I thought it was just a hole in the wall. Once I made my way up the stairs I was speechless. The restaurant is so beautiful and the atmosphere is amazing. The food is so good. When they say fried they mean lightly battered. Such so that its heavenly to eat. Their sushi menu is amazing and very deep. Their presentation is just gorgeous and the taste is out of this world.
