“We went after the lunch rush on Sunday and had a wonderful experience! Ashley, the manager, was extremely helpful in helping us decide on drinks as well as telling us about the backstory of their special spice blend. All of the food and drinks were really good! Personal favorite was the Korean corn dog. I loved the alternating cheese and sausage chunks as well as the Chinese mustard. I would highly recommend and will definitely be back. “This was my first time trying boiled peanuts and wasn't sure what to expect. They were delicious. Similar to eating edamame but with more flavor due to the marinades they are cooked in. “Literally having to write this review before i eat because it’s sooooo good! I had Otoro Hibachi in Hoover once before and it wasn’t very memorable. This location, however, is doing everything right! My boyfriend and I dined in this last sunday and everything was amazing. The calamari was light and crispy, not rubbery and overcooked, breading was seasoned just right. Our crab rangoons had so much filling, they were delightful. Our chicken and steak bento boxes had great portions. The lady at the register was very pleasant. I was so pleased with the food and service, i decided to order on uber eats to see if i would receive the same quality. This time i ordered the same things, plus noodles for my toddler, as well. I am happy to say this meal is just as amazing. I received my extra sauces and my special request for “no edamame, extra veggies” on my bento box was honored. I am so glad this place has come to Homewood! I will say this, in regards to another review i read, don’t expect hibachi steakhouse quality when you are not paying hibachi steak house prices. $11 for a chicken bento box is a great deal for great, quick food!”

“What an incredible dining experience in Birmingham! I would say that this was probably the most creative and delicious meal that I’ve had in a while. Our server Eloise was very knowledgeable and helped us step outside of our comfort zone with dinner. We had an appetizer with chicken liver and I was pleasantly surprised by how full flavored it was. We came for our anniversary and Eloise was just super thoughtful and helpful. The food did take a minute to come out, but overall it didn’t matter. It was a unique dining experience with a lot of shareable meals. You can make this as expensive as you wanted it to be but don’t have to break the bank to have a delicious meal at the same time. Really neat ambience and trendy atmosphere.”
