“This is actually Greer's, Conwell's Pharmacy, a liquor store, and a Shell station. I don't buy gas here because it's always more expensive than my usual station. But I shop at Greer's for certain things and love Frank at Conwell's. Employees are friendly and know all of us locals. The prices are higher here than anywhere else, but the meat selections are great.”

Was amusing for the table next to me as I'm only small and this giant burrito was laid out infront of me 🤣 Luckily it tasted wonderful and I managed to finish 90% of it. The steak inside was tender and flavoursome. Bf had chicken fajitas which came out sizzling! The food came out really quickly... great place to stop by, very reasonably priced!”

“Maybe people caught them on a bad day idk. But I've tried every single seafood restaurant in mobile and daphne and fairhope. This place is delicious in my opinion and I am very picky about how my seafood is cooked because for some reason a lot of restaurants especially down here can't provide good food seafood without it tasting like it's sat in a sink or ice for hours. The stuffed flounder and west indies were delicious and so was the seafood plate. They are expensive. But good seafood is. They should definitely revisit revamping their side choices and some menu options as far as seasonings! But no one makes west indies salad anymore! And it was spot on! I have told everyone I know 😆 And those complaining about the menu prices being incorrect that menu was put up by a private party not the restaurant. If you think you're getting dinner shrimp baskets for $15 you should truly question the quality of that seafood and join 2021 where you're not getting fresh gulf seafood for that cheap anymore and haven't for awhile! Worth a shot and every penny! I won't go anywhere else down here when I want to order seafood!”

“This is 1 of the few remaining in Mobile and has a old feel to it. Their food is always made up to standard and hot. The only set backs is forgetting your pepper or a straw, just small things. Sometimes the small things can cause some irritations, but I believe they continuously try to correct that problem. All in all it's worth those little things for delicious chicken.”

“My husband and I stopped in the cafe to grab a bite to eat. We both ordered the hamburger steak, and a salad, I got fried okra while my husband got mashed potatoes as our other side dish. After a long 30+ minute wait, our food was delivered along with the bill. The food was nothing to write home about, but was ok. If your in a hurry, this place is NOT for you. Other things to consider if you visit; Tea is super sweet as well as the corn bread. We waited and waited and waited some more for the server/waitress to ask if we needed anything else. I needed water and my husband wanted some unsweetened tea to mix with his SWEET tea. She never came back, so my husband went and found a go-box for my leftover steak. The review is based on time and service rendered.”
