“Skip the chains and stop in here for a small old diner meal. Prices are great. Our first experience was breakfast which was a great experience dining with the locals. The tea is sweet and the food is good. I was happy to see they offer cheese grits but they aren't cheesy. They are a throw a slice of fake cheese and stir kind of cheese grits just FYI for those who wonder about that kind if this before ordering. Look up pics before dining so you know what to expect in regards to any cleanliness standard you may have. It is an old family run dinner. Definitely worth a visit if you are looking to dine local.”

“Hands down the best shrimp po boy I've ever had. Everything was super fresh and the portions are generous, I couldn't even fit all of my shrimp in my sandwich. Good amount of outdoor seating. The woman who took my order was very nice and courteous, even when she was juggling the lunch rush on her own. Don't let a wait dissuade you, there's a reason so many people show up to grab their lunch here. Will definitely visit again the next time I'm in town.”

“Cute little shop! If you get the chance, try their humdingers (called Snowballs in New Orleans). They’re pretty much a mix of snow cones and ice cream. The wait was longer than most ice cream places but that was likely the spring break rush. Even so, the wait was well worth it!”

The prime rib was cooked perfectly and the atmosphere felt like just a few families per section. We will be back for Fri night dinners they have each week. “It definitely wasn't crowded at all. They wipe down tables areas after every customer.They are quick on the refills, very attentive. They have plexiglass hanging between the booths, Super cool!!
