“Wow, this was amazing! So glad we came off the highway to find this place. Right when we walked in the door, Cooper welcomed us and made us feel right at home. I was going order off the menu, but when my husband got the gumbo off the buffet, I joined him. The barbecue was well smoked and a little bit spicy, just right. I had delicious greens, beans and yams that weren't too sweet and had just a hint of citrus. Cooper took really good care of us with friendly, attentive service, and checked in to see if we needed anything, napkins, refills on drinks, or plates cleared. He was easy-going and interesting to talk with and made our dinner even more interesting. He's a really good listener and pays attention to details. If he ever decided to get a career in human services, counseling or psychology, he would be highly successful at it! Next time we'll order off the menu, but tonight we leave with full bellies and big smiles.”

But for ~$10 to have a croissant with chicken salad and a small bowl of soup and side of pasta salad, the price I think is a good bit too high for the quantity of food. If the food was amazing and unique, I may say it's worth going here. But the chicken salad I got (Fancy Nancy) was good but nothing to write home about. I'd rather go to Chipotle and pay a similar price, but be full and maybe even have left overs.”

“My husband recommended dining here and it was walking distance from the Battle House Hotel where we stayed. The place is small but they offer some tables outdoors for dining. We opted to dine inside. Since it was a bit busy, there were a few tables needing to be bused. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. We order the Le Cadillac pizza, beer and Caesar salad. The food was very good! The playlist was 80’s music which we enjoyed.”

“One of our kids found this place on Google en route from Gulf Shores to Memphis. I'm really glad we stopped here -- it was a nice spot. “I took my wife on a brunch cruise on a Sunday. It was a very nice experience I really thought the food was good so I enjoyed that. We both enjoyed the views of the Mobile river and just doing something different. We really enjoyed this time together and I think for couples this is a well worth it experience. They had a live new Orleans style jazz band that was very good as well. The boat was in decent shape with no obvious safety concerns.”

“Waitstaff SUPERIOR!!! We LOVED Chris! 🥰 Music/singer was truly BAD.. like "REALLY" BAD!!! NO REASON FOR SUCH, because Mobile has such talent! And "what a shame" because the environment is OUTSTANDING and needs music to reflect everything it has to offer! The VOLUME of the music literally DROWNED out the possibility of a civil conversation in the main room. We opted for seating in the "vault," (so we COULD hear one another) and had to wear our jackets because it was absolutely FREEZING!! I mean I'm a HUGH FAN of this place, HONESTLY, ("I" CHOSE to go there that night) but it was OFF, on so many levels!! Guess it just happens. Certainly won't keep me from trying again. Our waiter explained something concerning the thermostat in the vault (I just recommend layering your clothes). All and all, we found it to be one of Mobile's newest & most unique finds!”
