    Solid roadside Southern food. Basic, but good. To see the restaurant (like an old general store front) is worth the stop. But, the real reason to stop is tohave a conversation with the owner, Mr. Robert Missildine. This is an experience of true southern hospitality. The pleasure of sitting on the front porch with him and just visiting launched the stop from a 4 to a 5.

    I have been passing by this adorable little cafe for years but always at the wrong times so was never able to stop in. I made it a point today to head over. They're located a bit over an hour from me and even if we had not had food the hospitality shown by the owners was certainly worth the drive!! Very welcoming and didn't hesitate to engage us in conversation! But the amazing down home country cooking was nostalgic of my Grandma's. Collard greens, fried chicken, yams, black eye pea salad, and more plus dessert, brownies, lemon cookies, and red velvet cake to name a few! Delicious!! Can't wait to go back! Highly recommend you stop on in at Tin Top Cafe! You won't be disappointed!!

    Food is OK, I go for the company. This is a good old fashion place just to sit and drink coffee and talk about old times
