“December 2017 I traveled from Kentucky to say goodbye to my uncle who was terminal with cancer. For years he talked about how wonderful this place was, so while my mother and I were visiting, he made us load up in the car and drive to Grady, Alabama. Although the trip was difficult for him, it was worth it. This is now my favorite memory with my favorite uncle. Driving to a little school house tucked away in the boonies - and eating the best chicken I've ever had in my life. Definitely worth a visit! The character and hospitality of this wonderful restaurant have left an imprint on my heart and my stomach!”

“I have been passing by this adorable little cafe for years but always at the wrong times so was never able to stop in. I made it a point today to head over. They're located a bit over an hour from me and even if we had not had food the hospitality shown by the owners was certainly worth the drive!! Very welcoming and didn't hesitate to engage us in conversation! But the amazing down home country cooking was nostalgic of my Grandma's. Collard greens, fried chicken, yams, black eye pea salad, and more plus dessert, brownies, lemon cookies, and red velvet cake to name a few! Delicious!! Can't wait to go back! Highly recommend you stop on in at Tin Top Cafe! You won't be disappointed!!”
