“Stopped by Fatman’s on the way down to the coast for work. We each got the 3 rib meal and an extra 6 piece side of wings. Great smoke flavor on the meat. The wings could have been a little crispier but were delicious. Ribs were fantastic. Large selection of sauces to try. The turnip greens were possibly the best greens I have ever eaten. They said that the finish them on the smoker. Delicious! Super friendly folks behind the counter too. We would come back in a heartbeat. Try it and enjoy.”

“We’ve made Jan’s our dinner choice every trip to Florida via Montgomery for past 3 years. Always great food and a friendly ambiance. Seat yourself when entering, no hostess. May be music on the night you visit, if so the bar area will be crowded and a bit noisy, so be prepared for that. I always get the small oyster platter with sides of Gouda grits and green beans. My friend gets the grilled shrimp platter with broccoli and green beans. Always consistently fresh and reasonably priced.”
