“Where we started out, the smell of BBQ was calling me, from just across the parking lot, but… we received a recommendation, to another place, just a few miles away and told that it was better (to them). So, on we went. We got the Pulled Pork Sandwich Combos. I used very little sauce, but didn’t really need it at all, it was delicious on it’s own. The Staff was very friendly and I would definitely return, if ever up that way again (Troy, AL)”

“I rated the atmosphere at four stars because technically, it's a work in progress. Beyond that, everything about our visit was... incredible! The food was absolutely fantastic I'm a big eater and couldn't tell you the last time I needed a box for leftovers. Especially for a dish I enjoyed as much as the Yanni Pasta. The service was as friendly as it gets and very fast, helpful and informative. And the prices are very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food received. My wife and I have a new Pike County favorite. Do yourself a favor and try The Market; you will not be disappointed. Thanks guys and gals, for a wonderful dinner experience!”

“The place was extremely busy because the football game had just ended. They did a good job of managing the wait given the circumstances. Our server was very friendly and did a good job considering how busy it was. Our food came out quicker than I thought it would, and was delicious. We both had burgers, and they were cooked just like we requested, and the fries were fresh and hot.”

“If you like KFC, it's a good place to eat. The girl at the counter was nice, and we got our food quickly. The bathroom floor was flooded Personally, I don't care for it. I was with my brother, and he stopped there to eat. I suggest eating somewhere else if you want something good to eat.”

“This location was probably the cleanest I've been to in a long time, it's like the store was brand new. Food was ordered by phone and was ready when I got there and hot. Only one mistake was made on a order of grits but other than that the Food was good.”

“Ordered doordash from here and got the #2 steak burrito and it was 10/10 amazing. It was a big burrito too making it worth every penny. Rice and beans are classic Mexican style. Got free chips and salsa and verde too all of which were great. Overall if you’re looking for a great place for some Mexican Rike’s is the place.”

“Well this little jewel is located on hwy 231 just a few miles north of Troy Al. While it's acclaimed to be world renowned it IS good food, however it's still small and a little dated. The bbq pork is good with lots of smoke and good flavor but just a touch dry. The new Alabama white sauce they have is kind of like a horsey sauce without the bite (not too bad). The red bbq table sauce tastes like regular bbq sauce (no complaints). The sandwiches are a little smaller than you might expect but taste and smokey flavor is not lacking. Things about reviews you want to avoid. You don't want to judge the atmosphere or theme. Those are the freedoms that represent the individuality of an established. That being said. The few things that can make a difference in the success of a business in my opinion that I would review. -always make sure every table has 2 menus -bbq restaurant. Always provide silverware. You want your customers to be able to get all that delicious bbq and sauce that dripped from their sandwich into the basket without going caveman style to pick it up. (Leading to the next one) -rolls of paper towels on the table? Great! But use a cheap wooden stand so everyone doesn't have to reach inside the cardboard spool. -if you see mop streaks on the floor, refresh the water and remop. -Take a little time occasionally before opening from day to day and work on the tables and chairs (the sticky stuff builds up over time and sneaks up on you) I wish I could have given 4 stars but it's just not quite there.”

“The linguine and meatballs are incredible! It's the classic, comforting feel like you made it at home, only way better. Most if not all of the entrees include pasta, so don't expect lots of variety with sides, but if you are in the mood for pasta there are some great options. And, like I said: LINGUINE AND MEATBALLS.”

“We loved it. The outside of the restaurant will fool you into thinking it's just another cheap take-out place but no, you have to go inside or at least order food to pick up. The food was amazing. My wife got teriyaki steak with fried rice and I ordered 2 sushi rolls. These were the longest sushi rolls ever. The portions were unbelievable. We had enough left for another entire meal. Just go for the food. You will not be disappointed.”
