“My family visited The Anvil Pub & Grill for the first time on 3/15. I noticed when we walked in that the floor felt slippery and greasy when we walked on it. We were there on a Sunday for their Sunday brunch menu. Our server was rather loud and inattentive. While we were waiting to order he was just standing in kitchen talking to other members of the staff. There were a couple of times that my glass was empty when he was just standing around. Our food was really good! I ordered the shrimp and grits which was very tasty but but not worth $24, maybe $18. My nephew got some delicious looking French toast. My sister-in-law got a breakfast sandwich which also looked great. Her husband got the Anvil burger which he liked. I tried one of his fries which were great. My husband just got bacon and eggs which he said were good. We all loved the food, but we're not impressed with our server. We will definitely go back because we saw several other things we would like to try.”

“We stopped here on our trip to the beach. Luckily the Waffle House right by the main highway was shut down and we had to drive into town just a hair. Upon puling up, there was already a good vibe with some Halloween decorations. When we entered, everyone was so nice and helpful. Lena, Becky, and Aaron were working that night, and they made our stop there awesome. We will make this a routine stop for our beach trips from now on!”

“Old reliable. I'm a bit prejudiced about this place; it's the first restaurant, in fact the very first place my wife and I went on our very first date. We're still happily together, and we occasionally slow down and rekindle the flames (of love, not heartburn) by returning to the scene of the quesadillas. Anyway, we like the food served here-- it's been consistently good. Sometimes even great. We recommend both the food, and the nice waitstaff.”

“I stopped here for a quick dinner to-go while I was in town for work. It was surprisingly delicious! There are some great healthy options, but I couldn't resist the mac n cheese. It was AWESOME! I also has a great turkey sandwich. The portions were big, so I saved half the sandwich for breakfast the next day. The service was wonderful. “Food was so good I couldn’t stop and take a pic! All is very fresh and wholesome. Pita bread is off the chain and hummus is super fresh. I got the beef kabob sandwich and it was perfection. Greek salad that comes with it is perfect. Good portion sizes, not too much you’ll be bloated but enough to fill you up. Would definitely recommend to anyone who needs a restaurant off of 280.”

“Really enjoyed the atmosphere, staff, and service. They we friendly and will give you a Vietnamese lesson in correctly ordering the food properly, I really enjoyed that!!!!!!! The food was hot! Fresh ingredients! Great food portion for the price. This is a child friendly business. The staff make sure the children enjoy his or her meal as well.
