“So delighted to find this place. I would say these are currently the best tacos in Shelby County. We didn't have a single taco we didn't like. If we had to choose though, our favorites were roughly ranked in this descending order: Taco Mexicano (steak, carmelized onions, and peppers) Al Pastor (pork and pineapple) Barbacoa (just add a little salt and it is amazing) Suadero Choriqueso (mexican sausage and cheese) Campechano Pollo The food is very authentic, they have their Al Pastor on a vertical spit over the grill, etc. Each meat was super flavorful, and uniquely seasoned, which brought out the depth and character of each meat. This is rare to see at a taco truck, especially one with as large a taco variety as this one. If I was to pick a weakness here, I would say that I wish their salsas had a bit more nuance to their flavor. They are some of the hottest salsas in the area, and I would like to see a bit more flavor and a bit less heat, but that's just me. The medium green sauce is the least spicy, with the red and yellow-green salsas being the hottest. I don't say this lightly, but the meat and veggies on some of their tacos are good enough to not even need salsa, which is impressive. Also, I think their tortillas could be a little better, but great tortillas are really hard to pull off at a taco truck, so I get it. Overall, I would say this is an outstanding taco truck for the area, and I am delighted they are here. I'll be back for more! ????”

Some of my favorites are the lemon poppy seed muffins and warm cinnamon rolls at breakfast time. At lunch I usually have the T-Bird. “Did not have a good experience. I think our waiter forgot he was serving our table. He forgot to take our order, forgot to bring our drinks, forgot to refill, and forgot to bring our check. I would assume this was not a typical experience, but it left a bad fast in my mouth. The food was really expensive. The portions were large and the food was good, but that's only half the battle in my book.”

“The red head/brunette was a breath of fresh air as far as fast food customer service goes. It’s rare that you find personable people that work in fast food. It seemed like she really cared about her job and I truly respect that. She was quick but courteous, I received what felt like a truly honest smile and how are you, my food was hot, and everything was in the bag. It’s been awhile since I received all of this in one visit at a fast food place. This girl needs a raise if she has not gotten one already.”

“Wendy's is probably my favorite fast food restaurant. This location has great service, and great attitudes at the front counter. Food has always been correct, and the staff is always helpful. Excellent customer service! The only complaint I could have is that the restrooms appear to need a bit of a refresher every time I come in -- maybe just a little redecoration.”

Went through drive through today snd was met by friendly young man who took my order in person (no shouting into a speaker) and swiped my card on mobile device. “Excellent steaks. I originally rated this place 3 stars, but did not leave any details about my experience. But recently I've discovered that their steaks are some of the best around. Not necessarily the greatest cuts of steak, some top/bottom round even, but some are clearly good ribeyes. I think that steak night on the buffet is every night after 4pm? Might want to call and ask yourself but... Awesome steak. It's not anything elaborate. Just salt and pepper, I think. (If the cook wants to put anything on your steak while he/she is cooking it, I recommend asking them not to...) But for the price and the fact that you can have as much as you desire... the steak is outstanding. You can't get better steak in Birmingham for less than $25.”
