“Tony's Hot Dogs is great. Made to order, breakfast and lunch. We roll up in here many Saturday's as a group and they are efficient and courteous every time! The food is wonderful and the servers are awesome. The owner Joe and his wife are there most times, and they really keep the line moving and the food yummy. “We stopped here on our trip to the beach. Luckily the Waffle House right by the main highway was shut down and we had to drive into town just a hair. Upon puling up, there was already a good vibe with some Halloween decorations. When we entered, everyone was so nice and helpful. Lena, Becky, and Aaron were working that night, and they made our stop there awesome. We will make this a routine stop for our beach trips from now on!”

“Old reliable. I'm a bit prejudiced about this place; it's the first restaurant, in fact the very first place my wife and I went on our very first date. We're still happily together, and we occasionally slow down and rekindle the flames (of love, not heartburn) by returning to the scene of the quesadillas. Anyway, we like the food served here-- it's been consistently good. Sometimes even great. We recommend both the food, and the nice waitstaff.”

The young man at the window is always courteous (with I'd asked his name), his service and demeanor sets an example that others should follow. He's always polite and engaging. “The differentiating factor between Nino’s Italian Restaurant and its competitors is the simple fact that you can smell food being “cooked” not “prepared/warmed up” as soon as you walk inside of the restaurant. Nino’s food is not heavily weighed down by salt or “natural flavoring,” which masks the taste of the food. I appreciated the candidness of the managers, the genuine greeting, the personalized service, all in addition to the excellent conversation about the “prep” work that goes into getting the kitchen prepared for the day as early as 4:30 in the morning. The restaurant is clean, welcoming, and the kitchen is visible to the naked eye which I enjoyed about Nino’s. Keep your ID handy because you will be carded for large transactions as well as any drink orders of the alcoholic nature. I wish the best of luck to Nino’s, and I cannot wait to stop by for another slice of the Italian cake.”

I placed a to-go order for a Phillysteak and cheese hot hero sandwich and a slice of original cheese pizza. The Philly steak and cheese was absolutely delicious! Best steak and cheese I've ever had! “Today I tried the hamburger steak with brown gravy, cornbread, black-eyed peas & fried okra. The hamburger patty you can tell was already prepared, not cooked on the spot, and gravy with fried onions added. My cornbread was hot, had great taste and complimented the meal. The black eyed peas were from a can, not cooked fresh. The fried okra was phenomenal, which added value to the overall plate. Service is quick and waitresses seem very friendly. My only complaint is the banana pudding had run out, seems to be an issue as it happened on my last visit as well. Overall it has a hometown feel and fair prices. I look forward to reviewing this establishment each time I visit on various food options.”
