“Walking into here I loved the decor and the vibe! However service and food needs work. I stood in line to order my food at the counter for 18 mins that was with 4 people in front of me. I was holding my daughter in my arms the entire time waiting to order. By the time I ordered the line was backed up almost to the door. And then while waiting to order parties we’re coming in and having one person wait in line while the others then got a table. I couldn’t do that since I was just one person with my 2 year old daughter and thank goodness someone left just as I was done placing my order. Food needs work! Pizza tasted like frozen dough. I hope the service and the food improves.”

“We ended up ordering a custom barn and was able to pick the colors we liked for the siding and the tin. The quality of the materials and craftmanship is just awesome. The woman was also very kind and helpful and was able to help us with all of our questions. We would definitely use Cotton State Barns of Ashville again!”

“The wings are fine -- the dining experience was pretty bad. However, this restaurant is brand new and I hope they will improve in that area with time and experience. Called in an order at 6pm, was told they would be ready in 20 minutes. Sat at the restaurant until nearly 7:30pm when I finally received my order. For this restaurant to succeed, they need to do a few things: 1) Set expectations with call-in orders. If the wait time is an hour, tell people on the phone that. I heard them tell people 20-25 minutes several times when I'd been waiting in the lobby for 45 minutes. Tey People don't mind waiting as long as you set expectations. 2) Use (and stick to) a numbered ticket system. Handwritten names and orders that get lost (and they got lost several times) are asking for trouble. Using a proper ticket system, there's no surprises on when orders can come out. 3) Treat friends and family like any other customer. I saw quite a few orders go out to friends of the staff, that were put in after other waiting customers. The food itself was okay. It's hot wings. The sauces are standards with no surprises. It's fine. If the service was good, it'd be a small-town win.”

Clean and tidy sitting area. Great for a quick bite to eat but if you need fresh vegetables or fruits they are good for this as well.”

“Always friendly staff especially during rush times they're very professional. Sometimes the younger kids don't take things very seriously but they've gotten better about weeding out the ones that don't like to work in the past few years. Food is always good service is always quick and if you ever have a problem they are more than happy to help fix the problem well. Bathrooms and restaurant are always very clean. They also has a corporation donate to local schools and fundraisers and we are very grateful as a community for that. Overall I would give them five stars.”

“Came to Ashville to renew my tag, figured we would get coffee and breakfast. We got Breakfast casserole, cheese grits, and a egg and cheese sandwich in a bagel. Our food came first, slightly bland but was finished. We got our coffee after the food was done. Considering there was only one person in front of us, it was disappointing to have such a long wait for coffee from a shop that specializes in it. Customer service was great and ambiance was amazing, canoe creek coffee had a nice cozy feel but they could improve in the overall speed of service.”
