Taqueria Dolores

Great food! The “Jumbo/Gumbo(?)” is quite good — sizable portions and fresh homemade corn tortillas.

Have been there a few times now and it is delicious. Don't let the "look" fool you the staff is friendly and my wife and I ordered a bit load of food for reasonable price.

Great selection of agua frescas. I suggest going with the huarache or the gumbo Dolores. If you a bit shy of going out on a limb and want something a little bit closer to your traditional food go with the quesadilla fajita!

Is many places in Tuscaloosa to eat authentic tacos but this is one step ahead from the others they are big and delicious

This was our second time eating here. I don't know if it was a different cook or close to closing time, but our food was much different than last time (we went at lunch). Our rice and beans sides came out cold and the tortillas for our tacos were not warm either. For 2 people, our bill was $37.00. We had a Quesadilla, 3 Tacos, Rice and Beans for each person and 2 cokes. Our waitress was super nice, but unfortunately, I won't be going back.
