Dillard’s Chophouse

First time eating at Dillard’s, and from the moment we walked in we were met with very friendly staff. We felt very welcomed and at home. Our waitress May was very kind and affable. She took very good care of us. Of course the food is what everyone really wants to know about, and I have to say, it was fantastic. Everything we had tasted delicious, and the cocktails were great. Would absolutely come back again.

My dinner was excellent. The bone marrow was topped with shallot marmalade and herb pistou, and there was a ton of marrow. Absolutely scrumptious. But then there was the duck. Nice and crispy skin on the dry-aged Pekin duck. I love the bit of umami you get from a dry aging! And then the duck confit! So rich and buttery, with a lovely gastrique that took this one to the next level. Really excellent all around! And Bell is amazing! She is very welcoming, helpful, and great to talk to!

My overall experience at Dillards Chop House was outstanding! As I walked in the clean, well put together steakhouse I was welcomed with a great deal of professionalism and hospitality. As we sat down, we were welcomed by some of the best service I have had in my life from a lovely lady named Frances. She was very sincere and kind not to mention she went above and beyond by ensuring our drinks were always filled, and made sure we had fresh bread when we were getting remotely getting low. Frances was very knowledgeable about the menu as well and helped me pick out the right cut of meat with it being cooked to perfection. Then the steak came out and let me tell you it was to die for, the steak had the perfect amount of char with a pink, savory center packed, full of flavor. Overall, Dillards Chop House was a wonderful experience and will be back soon.

We had a great experience tonight with Francis and Judith taking care of us. In town for my 55th high school reunion . The service was great as was the food and wine. Next time in Tuscaloosa will definitely come back. A first rate experience overall. Gary and ruce

We stopped on a whim for lunch. First timers. We were incredibly impressed with everything we ordered. The wines were reasonably priced. Dessert was good. Our waitress was personable and knowledgeable. Beautiful decor and elegant ambiance. I hope to try their dinner menu soon!
