Best place for good fresh seafood and sushi. Ask for the "special sushi" menu and you will not be disappointed.

Elizabeth was a FANTASTIC server. I would give her 6 out of 5 stars if I could. She was constantly moving the whole time but never seemed frazzled. She is a natural and we hope to have her again!

Three stars because we ordered one roll of sushi as an appetizer and it took exactly 51 minutes to come out. It's a Thursday night, why should sushi take nearly an HOUR to come out? Especially when it's an app? Insane. If this is a normal time for them, I don't know how people come here when you can get sushi anywhere else in town in less than 10 minutes for a cheaper price. Management never came by to check on us. They obviously don't keep an eye on ticket times and if they do - then they don't care enough about their customers or the restaurant for it to matter.

If you're on the fence about going to Chuck's, then I suggest trying Half Shell Oyster House down the street.

Stopped in for dinner on a Monday night when I was traveling for business. Ordered the fish of the day (Red Snapper) which was very tasty. Service was quick and attentive. When in town again for a night or two I will definitely return.

Gumbo is some of the best I ever tasted. Service was excellent. Scollops were awesome.

One of my favorite restaurants in Tuscaloosa, and my #1 place for sushi. The upstairs sushi bar and area is first come first serve, so I usually do that and avoid the wait downstairs. There’s also an exclusive sushi menu upstairs with more extravagant sushi rolls. I recommend the Doing It Roll, it’s awesome (see picture).
