We went two Saturdays in a row because we enjoyed it so much. My husband and I had the Sweater Weather latte with oat milk and no whip. I had the blueberry muffin, pumpkin muffin, and avocado toast with an egg. We also tried their pumpkin scone as well. The muffins are big and the pumpkin muffin had delicious cream cheese in the top. It did not have the fake pumpkin taste that often pumpkin flavored things have. All of the pastries had a good texture and flavor. I did not like the pumpkin scone as much. I wish the avocado toast had been a little more warm and toasty when it came out but overall it tasted good. The time between ordering and when the food came was pretty fast.
Ridiculously amazing coffee. Oatmeal pie sandwich is divine. Beautiful airy interior. Friendly staff. Wish I lived closer!
This is such a cool spot. The building is very spacious and clean with plenty of seating. Service was efficient and the prices were reasonable. We tried the blueberry muffin and it was great! Our coffee came out piping hot. My americano was just OK. I ordered the toffee syrup in it but couldn't taste it at all. I would return but would order a different coffee drink.
Always great coffee and pastries when Income here. The atmosphere is relaxed and it’s a great place for downtown meetings
Stopped by this Heritage House for something to warm up with and a little snack. There are apparently a couple locations throughout Tuscaloosa, but this one is near the Black Warrior River. There are no huge signs or anything, so I never knew it was there until I went looking.
The inside is extremely welcoming and very nicely decorated. It smelled delightful--coffee, cinnamon, and baked good galore--and I imagine it would be a great place to study.
Unfortunately, I was in a rush, so I grabbed a hot chocolate and a chocolate chip scone to go. The two gentlemen who rang me up and warmed my scone were very polite and friendly. They even yelled after me to keep warm as I was leaving. Awesome service!
My hot chocolate was really good here. The whipped cream on top tasted like magic, and in a way, the chocolate and milk tasted like Coco Puffs (a good thing!). My scone was tasty too, especially since it was heated up. Gooey chocolate chips with a faint cinnamony flavor, and a large portion too!
I enjoyed coming here and look forward to when colder days are more frequent, so I have an excuse to stop by and try something else.
