“Absolutely delicious BBQ, wonderful outdoor seating, clean restrooms. The pulled chicken was delicious, I can only complain about 1 thing and that is it’s a 10 hour drive from my home state. Well worth the stop if you’re in the area. Highly recommend the chicken and pulled pork. I would recommend the beans as well but I didn’t personally eat them my son devoured them before I could get a bite, but he said they were yummy!”

“I went here twice while working in this area. Took a chance stoping in and was very surprised by the choices on the menu. The staff was very nice , it felt like being at a relatives house for lunch. The food was cooked to order and tasted like a homemade lunch my grandma would make when I was a kid. The first day I had the Large Bacon Cheeseburger with Fries. The meat was flavorful and had a little crust on it. The bacon looked like it was cooked in an old skillet like grandma would. It was a really good meal and lunch stop. The second trip I had the Grilled Chicken Patty Melt with Fries. This was so good! I have not had a patty melt in 20 years and this one was awesome. If in the area please stop in and give it a try.”

“A Gathering Place is just what the name implies, it’s a wonderful place to gather and enjoy a wonderful buffet or you can order from the menu. The food is delicious… served with good old fashion hospitality. They even have a karaoke night… there’s an area to sit and relax and enjoy conversation or a beverage of your choice… antique lovers will definitely enjoy the restaurant’s interior design and there’s also a gift shop. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit. This new restaurant in Chatom Alabama is definitely a wonderful gathering Spot!”
