Great place to get a one of a kind cut of meat in anchorage! Amazing Appetizers and full bar drink menu. The lighting is low and get busy In the evening so be sure to make a reservation.
They also have the best burger and French dip in town for lunch! Extra parking in the back and enter from the rear
Came here for dinner on our honeymoon from Alabama. This place by far blew us away. The food was amazing!!!! Thick steak! Ended up having to get filet since they were sold out of prime rib. Still amazing and so delicious. We also had the combo platter appetizer and it was delicious. The halibut fingers and fried zucchini were my favorite. Definitely a highlight dinner of our trip!
Everyone knows the food here is amazing. Our server Renee was fantastic, and the other staff was great too. This place is known for its quaint feeling, to me thou it really needs to be updated, the silver wear is worn and tarnished, the bathroom is located in the middle of the dining room. For the prices (and they are really high) I would expect a better interior, tables, chairs and silver. It really is all about the food, and it was great.
Location is great right in downtown. The service is excellent. My server was very friendly and great. I ordered the bourbon sirloin day special. Was not a big fan of it but ok. I tried their battered hallibut fingers it was great. For dessert, I tried the Burlee. It was good but the top was way too hard. Will be back....likely....
Attentive service and a quaint, quirky interior combine for a great dining experience.
An Old fashioned at the bar will help you kill time if you have a wait, which is worth it.
Try the blue cheese stuffed filet for a real treat
The in-season halibut fingers rock as an appetizer too.
