The Bubbly Mermaid Oyster Bar

Fresh oysters and unique oyster shooters. This place is always worth a visit. I wish they’d bring back some of the less expensive champagnes for the people that are more oyster focused but also want some good bubbly.

Everything about this place is lovely. I'd like to see the rates get a bit more reasonable like they used to be, but everything else is great. Try every oyster variety you can afford; though the hipster is for sure my favorite and most embarrassing to order.

Let me start by saying, this place is cozy. Make sure you go with people you really like or be ready to make new friends. That being said, it's awesome. The oysters were all outstanding so definitely try them all. The champagne selection is extensive so come prepared or don't be afraid to ask for help.

If you like fresh oysters and champagne, this is not to be missed. Very small inside, but that adds to the charm. There are no individual tables so if you don't like meeting people and sharing conversation, this isn't for you. Just a ship bar and bar stools around the sides. Delicious oysters, both a hot and a cold menu, all $3 each. Love how unique this place is!

Absolutely must visit. Small and cozy space. Beautiful design. Knowledgeable and helpful staff. The oysters came fresh and delicious. Make sure to try the Casino, Marinier, St. Jacques, BBQ. Make sure to try the Salmon caviar, and leave some room for the chocolate mousse.
