I’ve been going to this place for years and have always loved the pizza. My wife and I both are high risk so we decided to try out the curbside pickup. All employees and customers were business as usual, opening and closing doors, no masks, touching door handles and Togo boxes. The polite employee came out with our food (salad hanging out the side of the salad box) again no mask, touching door handles. Then the employee said she needed to go back because she forgot to get my receipt to have me sign.... physically sign.
I love this business and the food but I’m writing this review to let people know that we wanted to limit face to face and actively avoid scenarios like this, so unfortunately we won’t be able to go back. Not because of service or great food but because to us, this business doesn’t take the spread of disease seriously. (There are a few restaurants and businesses in town that do and we will stick to that.)

I frequent Firetap on O’Malley and Julie is the BEST server, hands down! She gets my drinks promptly, gives my family and I the BEST service. I frequent the location on O’Malley because of her bright and cheerful disposition! Even when the restaurant is operating at near capacity, Julie has ALWAYS provided the BEST service! Keep her around; she’s great for service!

If you are looking for some great local eats and ale, Firetap is a great choice. Both of the locations provide consistently quality service and food. Their wood fired pizzas are some of the best in town (the Mac and Cheese pizza is awesome), but I personally gravitate towards their sandwiches, which are made from their famous Monk Pretzel.

If you haven’t been by, make sure to check this Anchorage staple.

Seafood pot pie was lava hot but delicious. It was less of a pot pie that a great stew with crescent bread baked on top of it. I would get it again. Careful not to burn yourself.

Good tasty food. A lot of variations on the menu. We did not have to wait at all. The food came out fast and hot. Only complaint is that it's a bit pricey. Friendly service. Big portions.
