“This place is amazing!! The drinks are phenomenal, the food is fresh and very yummy and the atmosphere is friendly and relaxing. I had the rose lychee milk tea and it's hands down the best I've had. The fried wantons are fresh prepared, have shrimp in them and pair wonderfully with the sweet chili sauce. I love the atmosphere here. It's very comfortable, you don't feel rushed and everyone is very pleasant. I will definitely be a repeat customer here and recommend it to friends and family.”

“We went for dessert it took forever then they came out said it was almost done peach cobbler with ice cream is what we ordered five or ten minutes she said well like 20 minutes later she comes out and says it's still really doughy it's going to be like 20 or 30 more minutes so we switched to pie ala mode it was okay but when we got the bill she charged us for cobbler witch is more expensive so that took extra time just not the way it should be.”

“Truly amazing brisket. I’ve only eaten at the food truck but I’m sure the storefront is even better. The owner is a vet and an amazing guy who’s trying to do great things for Sierra Vista. He tries to hire local companies for everything he needs done. The prices are fair and he offers a nice variety of items. He innovates new things such as smoked cheesecake too. I’ve heard the chicken is only okay, but I haven’t tried it myself. The brisket though is the only thing that matters. It rocks. It’s juicy, tender, and tasty. Just as good as anything I’ve tried in Texas. It requires no sauce either. I’ve also tried the chili and the nachos. The chili was good. It looked small for the price but so filling I didn’t mind. The nachos were excellent too. The sides are good.”

“I think that this restaurant is a little too high on the ratings. I would give the building and the inside itself a 4 star but the rest of the experience brings it down. Starting with the food. The steak wasn’t that bad, the chicken was a little dry and the shrimp was the best thing. For the price of the food I would expect to get more than a sliver of steak. The spices on the food was great. When it comes to the alcohol, Kiev (Moscow) Mule, it felt like it was a little watered down. They are getting rid of Coke products, but they could at least make a cherry Pepsi with grenadine, but I felt I had to beg to get it. The experience itself was blah a best. The chef was nice but didn’t not keep the attention as some chefs do. Once again for the price i would expect a little bit more entertainment, especially on a Friday. This isn’t a bad place, but i will probably take the hike up to Tuscan before coming here if I am honest.”

“2022- Great experience, great service, steak cooked very nicely. 2020-The steak was much better this last visit. The time before, the steak was very dry. I almost didn't go back. I wish the servers would remember when we ask for normal butter for the bread. So far 3 of 3 times they have forgotten and we had to wait until the meal was served. A family member has an allergy to cinnamon so they cannot eat the butter/cinnamon whip they bring normally.”

“Soul Food Therapy is OUTSTANDING! The restaurant owner (Ms Hopkins) and her staff are attentive, on the ball, polite, and great for recommendations of dishes to try. And they have occasional “dinner specials” too; just ask! My wife and I had an excellent salmon entree with three sides: green beans, dirty rice, and red skinned mashed potatoes. And a square of corn bread too. Excellently presented and tasty! The fare is very reasonable since the meal includes the entree, a drink, three sides of your choice, and corn bread. We love the low-key, non-rushed, quiet ambiance of the dining room which leads to a relaxing dinner event. Desserts are available and if desired, they can be taken “to go.” A 5-Star Restaurant!”

“After having some really bad experiences at other restaurants I was wondering if my standards of service were too high, but then I came to the country house and was reminded what good service was really all about. Our server was kind and professional and made me feel right at home. With prices skyrocketing everywhere I was amazing at how much food I got for 15$. I got the meat loaf and I got it with a soup, cornbread, mashed potatoes and Cole slaw. There was so much food I didn’t even notice the Cole slaw was missing but the waitress did and she gave me some to go at the end of the meal. There was so much food it fed me for lunch and diner the next day. I have to say this is my new favorite place to eat in Sierra Vista.”
