“We loved the food and the service (Ben was awesome) but they changed the decor and ruined this place. It used to be so private and upscale, and elegant and now it is less upscale than the Cowboy Club next door. What are they thinking? Ugg. We likely won’t do the Silver Saddle and we will just do the Cowboy Club next time. That said, my mixed grill (chicken, brisket and ribs) were to die for. The Mustang cocktail was also great! “We visited AJ's last week and were very impressed! What an adorable place! It was clean, spacious and FUN! We were greeted by several employees. The menu had great choices, and we decided on Canyon burgers. YUM! The burger was delicious and the fries were equally amazing! The food came quick and the friendly service continued. We spent extra time trying the Blue Bell ice cream (I had banana pudding ice cream - wow!) and shopping in their store. They have great merchandise to choose from especially some cool Sedona souvenirs. The prices were great and the overall experience was MORE than 5 stars! I highly recommend AJ's in the Canyon and we will definitely be back soon!!”

“We came out in the middle of the heatwave for this first time experience, and we're glad we did! It was important for me to support local, and much more importantly, they don't cook with toxic seed oils, the beef is 100% AZ local grass fed beef, organic, and they had gluten-free options (which my honey and I both needed). I had the Carne Asada Burrito (gluten-free version) and Nacho Fries, so good! I also had house-made Agua Fresca, which I quickly finished, both because it was delicious and cold during the Summer heat, and because I wanted to also try the hand crafted Horchata, which was also amazing. He had the Chicken Burrito (gluten-free version) and Carne Asada Fries. Awesome, friendly staff, with yummy, fresh, healthy locally-sourced food. Thank you!”

“I had a wonderful experience at Forty1. The Elk Osso Bucco was incredible and the staff was very attentive and friendly. Our server Alana went out of her way to take care of us. The property is magical! A must see type of place. Only an hour from home so we'll be back!”

“This place was SO good! We will definitely be back! Great food, good vibe, cool music, cool artwork, relaxed outside dining. I think everything was made fresh in the kitchen, at least that's how it tasted. We got the churros for dessert & they were the best churros I've ever had. They had this dulce de leche cream on the inside and we dipped them in chocolate. Definitely gained a few pounds eating them but it was so worth it. Highly recommend! Such a unique, delicious dining option.”

“I would seriously consider giving this place 5 stars for the patio alone. It’s truly an oasis of fabulous established plants, changing flowers, and a fair amount of seating. They even supply blankets for cool temperatures. Our food was fresh and flavorful. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. We even bought a cookie to eat while we awaited our meal. Both of us found the portions to be on the large size and took half home. (Note: we are lighter eaters.) Note the paw prints on the floor to know where to queue for ordering. The retail is varied and well- stocked, whether you are interested in groceries or merchandise. Looking around is worth your while.”

“This place is a hidden gem. They have a new chef with a great, diverse menu, in a tranquil park-like setting (if you eat on the awesome patio). The staff was amazing, the food was great, and again the atmosphere on the patio is about as good as it gets here in Sedona. We brought our dog and they probably gave her more attention than us (in a good way). Check it out.”

“Completely a surprise. Thought I'd book an overnight to Sedona, this was available. Upon arrival I was expecting barefoot banjo picking in a backwoods setting. What a surprise, great clean cabin and helpful staff. No internet service which forced me to unplug and enjoy the setting. Will definitely go back, we had such a great experience.”

“Was looking for a quick lunch before our tour, found this gem with both indoor and outdoor dining in a cafeteria style restaurant. Found a good selection of rather healthy foods at a reasonable price. Highly recommended for this style of dining!”

“I only had the classic margarita 13" pizza so my review is solely for this dish...it was very good!! I didn't have high expectations being from NYC and consistently eating some of the best pizza in the world but this pizza can easily be from NYC. I was very impressed with the flavor and high quality ingredients used. The ambiance is pretty solid as well (heaters outside are a nice touch).”

“A nice place to stop by for a quick lunch! Came here after a hike with some friends. Such a beautiful site while sitting and eating. Plus you have all the shopping right there! Decently priced as well!”

“Taylor was 👍 great! His specialty drink is a play on the bees knees. It's called the creekside bee sting! Tequila with jalapeño infused honey that he made! Just the perfect kick of heat! Try one!”

“Remember to use Hᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴏʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏᴍ when booking a place. They compare hundreds of booking web sites and typically will have prices a lot cheaper compared to others! You're welcome :)! This hotel is one of the most well known in the area. I've been staying here for a very long time. If you stay for a few nights you definitely won't be let down. A beautiful little piece of paradise beside Oak Creek. Great food, great rooms ( although this trip, we were just there for lunch). Minutes away from the hustle and bustle of Sedona.”

“Stopped here a couple of weeks ago after doing the local trails. Top notch beer, cool people. Very laid back, local vibe out of the traffic and touristy area. I didn't get food but everyone around me did and it looked/smelled awesome. Great dark beers for a cool, rainy day. Try the Porter for sure.”

“Very good vibe. We had a reservation and it was an easy sit it. Good food. Very attentive host/servers. One thing I would say is their menu is very small but yeah. Would recommended.”

“Food was good! Environment was cool. Host was far too chatty. Waitress was present but we all still ended up with empty water glasses. I had the chefs bowl for breakfast and even though it came with a pancake you still have to pay 2 extra dollars for an ounce of average tasting syrup.”

“The food and wine were wonderful. But what's really spectacular is the ambiance and environment. truly a stunning property and a uniquely designed restaurant, decorated very thoughtfully. We truly enjoyed our dining experience. I advise you go early and take photos on the property while you wait for your table. You won't regret it! For dessert, the coconut flan was awesome.”

“Great food. My party ordered the Cobb salad, Cajun chicken Caesar, and the buffalo chicken salad. All of the salads were fresh and delicious. The only thing I would do differently next (there will be a next time) is order light buffalo sauce purely as a personal preference. Their fries are delicious as well. The owners of this lovely restaurant are very friendly and hard working. Definitely add it to your list to try.”

“Good location , yummy popcorn chicken! A bit pricey but make sense for Sedona. Tip, now I know that there is a parking lot behind the plaza which is good. I felt overwhelmed when was trying to find street parking.”

“Absolutely incredible atmosphere if you sit out on the patio and enjoy the Sedona scenery. Lucy was an awesome server and gave great recommendations. Steak and cactus fries were delicious. Drinks were also equally as good. This is a great tourist spot to get a good meal. Only recommendation, stay away from the chefs mac n cheese. It was a little disappointing and lacked flavor. Everything else was really fantastic though. Get the prickly pear margarita!”

“The food is very good and tasty. We tried different Mexican restaurants while in Sedona and this one was the only one close to authentic Mexican food. It's definitely worth the price. Their margaritas are very well made as well. The staff is very nice and attentive. Loved that they are dog friendly.”

“From the moment we walked in the door, everybody was super friendly and very accommodating. Our waiter Tony was fantastic. Super attentive and also a wealth of information about the area and fun things to do. The food was outstanding. This is definitely a repeat place for us. Great experience!”

“Some parts of our experience were good and others bad. So the cocktails and bartenders were great! Awesome vibe and wonderful view. But our meals were pretty disappointing. The fish special was over cooked and dry, the shrimp app was just a pile of mixed greens from a bag topped with a few small fried shrimp. We certainly expected better given how expensive the food is. Overall service was good, no issues there. But the chocolate chip cookie dessert was fantastic! We probably won’t be back for meals because it’s overpriced for what you get, but we will more than likely come back for drinks and dessert!”

“Blair was an excellent and knowledgeable server. The amuse bouche and appetizers were amazing! Dinner was delicious. Finn was a very gracious host. The bussers made sure our table was fresh and clean at all times. The atmosphere by the creek was magical! 5 stars is an understatement. A must visit!!!”

“We were not sure about this place at first, but were we in for a treat. Free valet parking the food is very good priced. No more then you would pay at a cafe. The quality is outstanding and fresh. The view from outside seating is just stunning. And not to mention the service was impeccable. Would definitely come back again.”
