“We make frequent trips up to the rim to escape the monotony of our daily grind. Creekside is always welcoming and the bartender Marcus is friendly and charismatic. Everytime we've ordered food, may it be mac n cheese for the boy, a salad, or a juicy burger it's always splendid. The porch is perfect for lunch on a spring day or a warm fire on a chill night. They came out hot and I highly recommend the flour tortilla with cheese because the cheese comes fried to the tortilla at the edges. “I cannot say enough how grateful I am for the service I received on September 12th at 7:30. I was at a local venue for my wedding, and had promised my guests food, only for those food plans fo fall apart and leave me with about 50 hungry wedding guests. This was the only place nearby that was open that served pizza as we'd planned in the first place. We called and got roughly 30 pizzas made in about half an hour before closing, made by just one employee from what the pick up group said. Thanks to that absolutely amazing service, we got enough delicious pizzas for all of our guests. Cannot recommend enough after how I got out of my pinch and great food to boot!”

No matter if you're there for a quick drink or if you are taking in a meal on your way through town. This is a must stop. Tuesday night poker night among many other nights where they always have something going on. If you are driving through town, stop in and be reminded what America and small town hospitality is all about. Open yourself up, talk to people and make friends. “Great concept. I had the chorizo and beans pie pocket and it was packed with great texture and flavor. My wife had the loaded bake potato. It was a little on the dry side but she enjoyed it very much. My in-laws had the strawberry and cream, they thought it was great. I also had the coffee and even though it was the late afternoon and was the bottom of their thermos it still tasted very good. They also offered to make more fresh if I was willing to wait. This concept you should definitely think about franchising. The only criticism might be maybe invest in some indoor seating to get out of the harsh mountain elements after you make significant profits.”

“I was visiting a friend who lives in Strawberry about 3 weeks ago. We wanted pizza that Fri night, so I got on Google to find something. There are only like 5 pizza places in the Pine/Strawberry area. I chose The Local Pizza Shop because the photos looked good & they had good reviews within the previous month (whereas the other places either didn’t have appetizing photos or really old reviews). I ordered us an extra cheese pizza with mushrooms on 1/2. They called me when it was almost done so I could drive to pick it up since they weren’t offering delivery due to employees calling out that night. The pizza looked good when I picked it up & the 2 guys were really nice. I was clearly their last customer for the night since they pulled their sign in as I was leaving- so there weren’t any other customers around. The reasonI gave them 3 stars is because I was VERY disappointed because there was obviously NO “extra cheese” I had ordered & paid for on the pizza. We felt there was barely enough cheese on the pizza to begin with. It’s just not right for a company to charge people for something they don’t provide. I’m heading back up there the week of Thanksgiving & would’ve happily ordered from there again because we’ll be so busy cooking. I just won’t go back to establishments that I feel didn’t meet my expectations- and in this instance, they were pretty low to begin with ☹️”

“The food was great. The portions were large. I can see why so many people recommend this place. Our server was not great however. She was not friendly at all. When we said thank you or please there was absolutely no response. I don't think I saw her smile once. It was probably about noon when she went. So we tried to give her the excuse that she had been there all morning and she was probably tired. But, this is your job you working the service industry. Be nice. Make a little effort. It wouldn't have been like she was super overworked since there were a ton of employees in there. Some even sitting and eating and just joking around They got up to help where needed. Had we had any other server would probably be a five-star review.”
