Great place for big groups, and they are just as great when I come for my weekly BacoNador Sushi Roll (1st pic) and Horchata! Easy 5 stars! ******** None of the below reviews are recent or of this brand new location. This is a review for MM that just opened at the intersection of Gilbert and Ocotillo. It was literally day one, so the slow service was expected, especially with the place being completely packed around 3pm on a Friday. I sat outside at the bar. The interior decor, bar layout, bar seating and outside seating was nice and modern. Service was professional and friendly. The margaritas were very, very good. I tried the blood orange and the mezcal margarita and highly recommend both. They have standard as well as frozen margaritas and other cocktails all around the $10-$14 range with one or two around the $18 mark. The chips and salsa is around $3.50 but very good. A large bowl of fresh, homemade, thin, salty chips and the salsa was also delicious with a hint of heat and smokiness to it. I ordered three a la carte tacos at $5.50 a piece; shrimp, miso mahi, and fried fish. All were very good flavoring. All in all, Modern Margarita is an excellent place to grab some good drinks and tacos. Definitely on the higher price range. Service was friendly and I’m positive the speed will pick up as they get their footing. It’s a solid 3.5 a 4 stars right now with potential to get even better! I will definitely be back!”

“Note that they are doing dine-in now (although they've only got a handful of tables). Their Google maps page shows that they don't. The current 5 star review average is well deserved. 3 of us ate there (including a child) and all of our food was excellent. Food highlights for us were the cheesy garlic bread and the deep dish pizza. The pizza was so filling that I ate 2 more meals off of it at home before finishing it.”

The decorations were modern and fresh. I tried their authentic Mexican strawberry ice cream, one of the best out there. Little pieces of fresh strawberries are a delightful surprise a. “Wow! What a great experience I had at this place. My sister start going there and told my dad about it. I had to try it since everyone in my family likes it. We tried the Kaw (caramelized pork belly stew with egg! So delicious!! We also got the papaya salad and lemon grass chicken. The food is soo delicious I can't say it enough. When we were there the owner greeted us and was so polite and nice. What a cute place also! We will return for sure! Update 11/1/22- We just keep coming back here. Entrees of yellow chicken curry and a chicken butter Masala, both done to perfection, the chicken was melt in your mouth tender. We also had a side of their veggie fried rice and you can tell that this was a 'clean' and healthy fried rice compared to your usual friend rice. Very excited about this new restaurant! A few minutes after we sat down, the band began to play and it was way too loud. We were about to move to another table but still too loud. You should be able to get lace an order and her the waitress when doing so. Yes the band was good, but just too loud and too early.”

“The food was phenomenal, service amazing!!! The acoustic SUCK! We went Saturday mid morning so it was busy 30 minute wait .. which we expected. I didn't expect it to be so incredibly loud that I couldn't have a conversation with the person sitting next to me. I recommend sitting outside if you want any kind of conversation. Definitely get the party potatoes, that was my favorite thing!!! I'm going back just to eat those!!! The biscuits and gravy were delicious but request extra gravy because The biscuits were so thick that there wasn't enough gravy on them so they were a bit dry. Otherwise they would have been perfect with the extra gravy. Speaking of that gravy, it's amazing it's out of this world. We also had the Henderson. It was okay. It was a lot. It was very sweet. It took me two days to finish it. It was just a lot. Was definitely not my favorite thing. Tried. The lavender honey lemonade Mimosa It was delicious. Would most definitely get that again. That pretty little flower. They top it with is edible so that was fun too.”
