Definitely a great start to each day knowing people care to give such friendly service so early in the morning. “Still in pandemic, no one was wearing a mask and two cashiers were having multiple customers come up to the same counter window instead of distancing. A bit alarming since I was just grabbing water for a health compromised senior. Placed was stocked and distancing lines were marked on the floor. People were nice. But Covid is still a thing afaik”

“Very surprised at how good and unique the food was. I'll be honest that I set my expectations fairly low as dog & burger joints can span a wide gambit of quality. This place far exceeded my expectations. Service (at the walk up window due to the current situation) was very good; the guy was very friendly and excited to talk about their business. It's always nice to find someone with a passion for what they're doing. Food was equally excellent. Choice variety was amazing, ingredient quality was excellent, and the cook was exactly right. Some of the flavor combinations are are very unique - stuff I'd never seen before. I had 'the Fonz' - Italian sausage with pastrami and cheese on Hawaiian rolls. 10/10 flavor combo. I'm definitely coming back for this one. Only regret was that I didnt snap a picture before it was gone - it's really that good!”

“I'll be honest, it was decent. However my favorite food was the Giant Corn Muffin. The brisket was good and moist, however lacked much flavor and there was hardly any smoke ring you would expect to see with brisket. They had a variety of BBQ sauces, but all had a bit of spice to them, whereas most places will have at least one sweet BBQ option. The guy I was with got coleslaw as one of his sides, but it tasted more like lemon-slaw, luckily they were happy to trade out his side for potato wedges, which by the way are pretty bomb and flavorful. Overall I wouldn't say horrible, just not like the BBQ I got use to in Texas and Kansas. (Brisket with a nice crust and smoke ring is hard to come by in AZ)”

“AMAZING! Is all I can say! Too many flavors to choose from (check pics!)- which isn’t a bad thing at this place!!! Staff so friendly, she let me sample and they are so delicious! My pic today: peanut butter! The yogurt has a consistency of a mousse, very creamy and uniform. Another favorites: pumpkin pie, anything with pecan, white chocolate raspberry. Don’t forget the tart ones! If you like lemon, there’s a fantastic combo of lemon and turmeric. Passion fruit, just Lemon- you name it!! I will be back for sure!!!!! Yum yum!!! Peanut butter tasted like a pie!”

“First visit to the newest restaurant to give it a go in thus building! We had been waiting for them to open and wanted it to be awesome! Positives first: The food and drinks were good and our server Shannon was great. We love being able to see the wood fired pizza oven from anywhere in the restaurant. Areas of improvement: Timing from the kitchen and pizza oven to get everything to the table at the same time. We were a party of 4, 2 orders came out from the kitchenfirst. 1 order came after the first 2 plates were almost done and the last order came out after 3 of us had finished. The guy running the pizza oven was more interested in talking to the staff in the kitchen than cooking. Even when one of the pizzas was wrong he didn't even attempt to expedite a new one. The bill came out incorrectly with an additional drink and the wrong pizza charge. When we asked for a manager, she didn't seem to want to deal with anything, didn't offer anything at all....no discount, no incentive to come back, dessert, nothing. She did nothing to help the server other than to correct the original bill. They also need to work on learning how to keep the ptrap wet in the women's bathroom as the smell in there is awful. Overall, good food and drink, the server did what she could, but the manager Laura and the pizza cook need to work on customer service. Kinda bummed????”

“I have been there twice now first time for drinks and second time had drinks and food. We had the chef's board quality salami and cheese. I had the Johnny's lemonade drink and the absinthe makes the heart..... drink. For dinner we had the the meatballs and red sauce and strawberry salad they were great and huge portions. “OK, so yes, Rubios is pretty much fast food, but not exactly. The food here is very fresh and tasty, and consistently good. I typically get the Grilled Shrimp Burrito, which is really good, but this time I opted for one of the new bowls. Very tasty and filling. The staff here turns over from time to time like any fast food place, but generally they are always friendly and quick. Best shrimp tacos ever? No. But reliably good.”

“I live down the block so I go to this location pretty often. They have yet to get my order incorrect or tell me "sorry, we're currently out of that.". It's actually kinda unbelievable thinking about it now. HOWEVER, reading through other reviews I was reminded of my biggest annoyance with this location. They only ever give me 5 or fewer sauce packets where other taco bells will throw in 20. They still get 5 stars, but now I want my money back.”
