“My husband made reservations at Annabella's Restaurant for Thanksgiving Day and let me tell you it was just fabulous. I told the chef and manager that I would let Leisure World know. They have been under new management since May 2018. We had booked our reservation late this year and could not be seated at McCormick Ranch or Wrigley Manson. Annabelle's was available although the old reviews were not so good. We booked it anyway because it was close and available. I am so happy we did not listen to the bad reviews We went and it was better than our past experience at McCormick Ranch and not as expensive. It was buffet style and had all the traditional varieties of food for Thanksgiving. The gravy and stuffing were excellent. They also had a breakfast brunch buffet and a wonderful salad bar with specialty meats, salad, and cheeses, dessert table. The buffet price included free Champagne or Mimosa's upon your arrival. We would highly recommend Annabelle's with it's vintage 1950's glamour and gorgeous chandeliers. So, if you want atmosphere and fine dining it is here at Annabelle. They are also open for breakfast lunch and dinner daily with outdoor pool view patio seating. We definitely are going there again and again and it's so close. I hope you take my recommendation and visit this restaurant so they can stay in business. We need a fine dining place close to L.W. Sally & Dave Perry”

“A friend and I had the opportunity to play a round of golf at the Arizona Golf Resort this winter. We were joined by a volunteer named Mark and had a great time. The course was in fantastic shape, I would say for example that the sand was the best I have played out of at many courses in the greater Phoenix area, but the fairways, tee boxes and greens were also in great shape. Perhaps my impression of the sand in particular is tainted by the really, really, bad sand I have had the unfortunate experience to have to play out of at other courses. Throughout our round, Mark gave us pointers on the course as well as information on the resort. Really, it was a great afternoon of good weather, good company and a course that was in great shape. The caring given to this course was evident in the other volunteers and employees working there too. In my experience, this does not happen by accident. Kudos to management and the volunteers, you made our day!”

“We came here because a friend recommended it. We had the spring rolls as an appetizer. They were very good. My husband got the green curry over noodles at a number four on the heat scale. He loves spicy foods and a four was perfect. I got pineapple fried rice with shrimp. The pineapple in it is fresh. You would think it would have made the dish sweet, but it didn't. I absolutely loved it. We had the crab puffs after the other food and they were the best I have ever had. We had 2 wait staff. They were both very pleasant. Service was fast and efficient. The restaurant is small but very clean. We will definitely eat here again.”

“I have gone to Dairy Queen on and off for most of my life since I've been a little kid. They always have delicious shakes and thick yummy blizzards that you can order to your specification. Good old-fashioned hot fudge sundaes are always wonderful and the DQ sandwich is the standard that we have loved since we've been kids. The only thing that I do not like are the Orange Julius. Years ago Orange Julius with the most delicious natural tasting orange drink I've ever had in my life. Many of my peers agree. But over the years they have changed the recipe and it tastes like a chemical soup... it is awful. Other than that I still give Dairy Queen five stars for being a good Old Reliable ice cream place to soothe your Savage beast when you're hankering for ice cream”

The nachos with pulled pork were DELICIOUS and I like to think our husband and I know good nachos, they were also priced great and there was more than enough to make a meal of. The toppings were fresh and abundant. The jalepenos had the perfect flavor and the combination of ingredients were great, from the sweet corn to the amazing guacamole. The beer was fresh and cold and the service was amazing. Shannon took care of us today and gave us an excellent experience. We will definitely be back...this may just be our new "go to" place!”

I never thought an "Italian" sandwich would be smothered with copious amounts of mayonnaise and mustard. I was thinking more along the lines of olive oil. “Ordered 2 soft tacos @7:33pm. No one in front of me. Two people order bigger meals after me. My order is wrong. Hard shells. Both people behind me are served before my correct order is ready. One received incorrect order as well. I have a co-worker who said that they never get her order right. This was my first time here and it is on my way home from work. Sadly, I probably won't be stopping by again.Taco Bell is next door so.. on the actual food side, chicken taco was good but the beef was dry.
